00:00On Saturday, residents in the province of Catanduanes felt the impact of Hurricane Pepito.

00:06Although they did not experience flooding, their houses were almost changed

00:11or their houses were changed because of the strong gust of wind.

00:16This is Princess Jordan of IBC 13 with the national news.

00:23In the aftermath of Hurricane Pepito in Catanduanes,

00:27several rice fields were flooded, trees fell, houses were damaged,

00:33and landslides caused roadblocks.

00:37The vehicle may be damaged, even if it's a motorcycle.

00:42Facilities of the San Jose Elementary School and National High School in Viga, Catanduanes

00:48were also damaged.

00:51These landslides were almost seen because of the open iron roof of the houses.

00:56Even the Emergency Operations Center or MDRRMO of Viga, Catanduanes

01:01was not saved from the impact of Hurricane Pepito.

01:04The Kisame of the same office also continued to give

01:07and rainwater was inserted in the aftermath of the storm.

01:10While the Covered Court in Barangay Dariao, Caramoran, Catanduanes,

01:14no one lived in its area.

01:17The whole roof fell to the ground along with the broken iron.

01:21Some residents woke up on Saturday night.

01:25Until 11am, 8am to 10am.

01:28It fell because it stopped for a while,

01:31for one hour, it stopped.

01:34I looked at the Covered Court, it still fell.

01:37Then, after one hour, the wind came back.

01:42It was strong.

01:43According to Dondon, they did not experience any flooding in the area.

01:47But because of the strong winds,

01:49along with the continuous rain,

01:51their solar panels that were installed to get alternative electricity supply

01:55were also destroyed.

01:57While some houses in their barangay were made of light materials

02:01and were not affected by Hurricane Pepito.

02:04Almost 70% of the houses in our barangay were destroyed.

02:12In Tuble, our neighboring barangay, Tuble, Tabangan, Panike, Mabini.

02:18According to the residents,

02:19since Saturday afternoon,

02:21the water and electricity supply in Dariao, Caramoran was down.

02:25No one was injured or injured in their barangay

02:29due to the strong Hurricane Pepito in the area.

02:32Meanwhile, in Viga Catanduanes Municipal Building,

02:35there is a free Wi-Fi and charging station

02:38for those who lost electricity due to the storm.
