00:03This one from the mind of our producer extraordinaire Joe
00:07Frizo Patrick Mahomes wins either the regular season or
00:12Super Bowl MVP hardware or Caleb Williams wins offensive
00:17rookie of the year. What is the better bet? Yeah, usually
00:21you're never going to take the rookie quarterback, Ben, but
00:23this instance, I'm going to take the rookie quarterback
00:25here because let's understand one thing you have to be the
00:28in the entire league to win the MVP. Can Mahomes do it?
00:32Absolutely, but also we understand there's always a bias
00:35out there. What's like look anybody that comes close to
00:38Patrick Mahomes. We'd love to give it to the other person as
00:40opposed to Patrick Mahomes. That's just the way it is. And
00:42even if it isn't is is a guarantee that that always
00:45happens. We understand that the human psychology works that
00:48way. Let's give it to somebody else and somebody we don't see
00:50every single year. Then again, you're going to win a Super
00:53Bowl. That's hard to do and say, well, Don, we watch you
00:55every day here. Come on say you don't care what about the rest
00:58of the NFL as long as Mahomes is healthy. It's still
01:00extremely hard to get every break during the regular
01:03season to wind up in the Super Bowl and win it. Now granted
01:06Caleb Williams coming in here. Sure. There's a lot of other
01:09rookies that are very good. They're going to get a lot of
01:11playing time this year. But when I just look at the setup
01:14for him the success level in the success rate of him being a
01:18dynamic quarterback rushing the football making those splash
01:21plays, which are so important like you want your Heisman
01:24moment. You say, hey, I don't know who I'm going to give it
01:26to. Wow. Do you see that guy with that super highlight last
01:28week in a big game highlights matter in this environment
01:30because as much as we want to say beat writers are voting on
01:33it. They're not just watching every Chicago Bears game. A lot
01:36of the times they're with their own things. Oh, what a Caleb
01:38do 18 of 23 275 yards to touchdown to interception. But
01:42did you see that unbelievable play that he had so I would
01:45actually be willing to go with Caleb Williams winning the
01:48offensive rookie of the year over Patrick Mahomes being an
01:51MVP and or Super Bowl champion.
