00:09Now you may not have noticed, but it is National Burger Day, and so what better way to celebrate
00:14than with a bit of a focus on our latest Lancashire Post Eats video review series, food review
00:21series, looking for Preston's best burger.
00:24Now some of you may have seen a few of the videos, read a few of the reviews, we've been
00:27on the hunt for the very best burger in Preston, and so far we've tried a multitude of places,
00:33we've tried everywhere from international super chains like Mackey's to proper beloved
00:39local classics, which are proper Prestonian favourites.
00:44Now we've sampled them all, we're rating them on a system, grading every single burger we
00:48try on the meat, the moisture of the burger, the extras it comes with, the vibe in the
00:53restaurant or the takeaway, and the value for money.
00:57Now to celebrate National Burger Day, just thought I'd give you a bit of an update on
01:00how we're doing with the whole review series because it is coming to a close.
01:04I am set to do the final LP Eats burger review today on National Burger Day, which will then
01:10allow us to crown the best burger in Preston, like I say for our second season of LP Eats,
01:17having previously crowned the best kebab in Preston.

01:23But anyway, without further ado, I just wanted to talk through the places we've been to so
01:27far.
01:28So recently I went to Grillshack on Deepdale Road, which served up some incredible extras,
01:31the doner meat and the chips, unbelievable, burger was very good as well.
01:35I've been to Fresh and Fast with their amazing homemade sauces, that was absolutely slathered,
01:40the burger was absolutely slathered in it, so that was a pretty unique colouring experience.
01:45I've been to Iceberg in the city centre, which was just like simplicity, it was clean, it
01:51was like a classic burger, really, really impressed me.
01:54I've been to McDonald's, which was extremely underwhelming, having consumed all these other
01:59proper local classy burgers to then go back to a Mac, his Big Mac, was very underwhelming.
02:05I've got to say, if you're thinking you love a Big Mac, try some of the places on this
02:09list, try some of the properly good local places on this list, you'll never have another
02:13Big Mac again in your life.
02:15I've been to the beloved All Hopes No Promises, which was just, I mean, it's classic for
02:21a reason.
02:22I've been to the Burger Hut, which had Doritos on the burger, so that was certainly an experience.
02:27I've been to Boo in the city centre, which was probably the place which surprised me
02:30the most.
02:31I'm going to leave it there in terms of why it surprised me, but go and find the review
02:35because it's safe to say I was, my socks were knocked off.
02:39I've been to Ohanis, which was just this burger which was cartoonishly perfect, it looked
02:44like something which had been drawn, and then I've been to Tipsy Chef, which again is another
02:48Prestonian classic, a much-beloved place locally, which was this big hefty, chunky,
02:53juicy burger.
02:54So yeah, I'll include links to all our burger reviews, all our written reviews of every
