01:17and providing free school meals for all children in his state.
01:21Walls has faced criticism for moving too slowly
01:24to deploy the National Guard in response to riots
01:27after the murder of George Floyd
01:29by a Minneapolis police officer in 2020
01:32and also questions about his departure
01:34from the National Guard three months
01:36before his unit was deployed to Iraq.
01:38The Harris campaign has responded to that last criticism
01:41by calling Walls a tireless advocate
01:44for our men and women in uniform.
