00:00Perikatan Nasional Assemblymen from Pahang are calling for an investigation into Muhyiddin
00:08Yassin's speech during the Ninggiri by-election campaign.
00:12This comes after Tengku Makuta of Pahang, Tengku Hasanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, said Muhyiddin
00:17had disparaged the Sultan of Pahang when he was the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
00:21Muhyiddin had questioned why he was not invited by Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah to
00:25become the Prime Minister after the 2022 general election.
00:29State Opposition Leader Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man also affirmed the Assemblymen's loyalty
00:33to Sultan Abdullah, the Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tengku Aziza Aminah Maimunah Iskandaria, and
00:39the Pahang Crown Prince.
00:41He also said they have full confidence in the police to conduct a fair investigation
00:45into the allegations surrounding Muhyiddin's speech.
00:48Yesterday, Muhyiddin defended his remarks, saying they were factual and not intended
00:53to insult the monarchy.
