00:00Two Philippine Coast Guard ships went ashore after being hit by Chinese ships in Sabina and Escudoshol that we reported yesterday.

00:07According to the National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea,

00:10BRP Bagacay and China Coast Guard vessel 21551 hit each other before 4 a.m. yesterday.

00:16According to the PCG, BRP Bagacay was hit twice and the railing was pierced.

00:22Some of its equipment was also damaged.

00:25However, China Coast Guard said in a messaging app that BRP Bagacay hit their ship on purpose.

00:31According to NTF-WPS, their spliced and edited video was posted by CCG.

00:38Before the BRP Bagacay was hit, BRP Cape Engaño, which has a hole on its right side, was hit first by CCG Vessel 3104.

00:48According to PCG Commodore J. Tareala,

00:50this is the largest ship hit by the Philippines after China's harassment in the West Philippine Sea.

00:57According to the former Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio,

01:01the Philippines can file a complaint against China under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Seas or UNCLOS.
