00:00The Philippine Coast Guard released videos and photos to show that the China Coast Guard and the Chinese Maritime Militia
00:08are happily operating in Sabina or Escoda Shoals in the West Philippine Sea.
00:12The spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Commodore J. Tariella said that
00:16the CCG did not only inspect the militia vessels,
00:20but also that they are in cahoots with the crew of the militia vessels and even joined forces.
00:26It is also clear that there was no formal boarding procedure to question the maintenance of the militia vessels in Escoda Shoals,
00:34even though they are not fishing.
00:36This is an indication that the CCG recognizes the Chinese Maritime Militia
00:42as a partner in the entry of various countries to the Exclusive Economic Zones in the South China Sea,
00:47including the Philippines.
