00:00Aside from the water cannon and bombing of the China Coast Guard by the B-4 near Bajo de Masinloc,
00:07two more B-4 ships were bombed by the CCG in Escoda Shoal.
00:12The latest incidents of harassment are being handled by the United States, European Union and other countries.
00:18Let's bring you the news of Chino Gaston.
00:2410 meters.
00:2610 meters.
00:34Hit! Hit!
00:40A new incident of the China Coast Guard's water cannon on a Philippine ship near Bajo de Masinloc in the West Philippine Sea.
00:48From the air, we can clearly see how big the China Coast Guard 3302 is compared to the BRP Datu Pagbuhaya water cannon of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
01:01It is part of the maritime patrol to support the Filipino fishermen in the area.
01:06As you can see from the video, it is a jet stream water cannon that is really intended to damage the structure and the communication equipment of Datu Pagbuhaya.
01:17A good thing that the B-4 vessel have a seamanship skills to outmaneuver this bigger Coast Guard vessel.
01:27Not just one, but two times of the water cannon of the Chinese ship.
01:31And not only did it hit the water, but it also damaged the BRP Datu Pagbuhaya.
01:38Oh!
01:40Oh!
01:47Oh!
01:52Hit! Hit! Hit!
01:54Hit!
01:56The collision of the two ships, Mala, David, and Gulyat.
02:00According to the Philippine Coast Guard, the two ships of China obstructed the bridge and made dangerous maneuvers on their ships.
02:12Including here, one of the ships of the Chinese Navy.
02:16This is actually the first time that we have documented a PLA Navy warship shadowing a Coast Guard vessel in Bajo de Macinlo at a distance of only 300 yards.
02:28But the Chinese version of what happened is different.
02:31According to the Chinese Coast Guard, the Philippine ships are dangerous to the Chinese ships.
02:37The Philippine Coast Guard ignored the Chinese ships and put one of the CCG vessels in danger.
02:46This is actually an overkill.
02:48Imagine this, our B-4 vessel is so small compared to this humongous size China Coast Guard vessel.
02:57And they have disregarded the collision regulation, intentionally side-sweeping a smaller B-4 vessel.
03:09Almost at the same time as what happened in Bajo de Macinlo, the Philippine ships near Escoda Shoal were also harassed.
03:16There, BRP Dato Romapenet and the CCG vessels helped the Filipinos who were obstructing fishing in the area.
03:25The BRP Dato Bangkaw of B-4 also covered and blocked the Chinese Coast Guard vessel's path.
03:32A Chinese warship was spotted in the area but it did not approach.
03:36According to the National Maritime Council, Bajo de Macinlo is part of the territory of the Philippines, which is also inside our Exclusive Economic Zone.
03:45Escoda Shoal is also inside our EEZ.
03:48This is in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, 2016 Arbitral Ruling, and the Philippine Maritime Zones Act.
03:55The new law was passed by China because it included Bajo de Macinlo and Kalayaan Group of Islands in the West Philippine Sea
04:03where they are occupying territories.
04:06We deem it as illegal.
04:08They do not have any basis for that.
04:12And if ever they did submit it to the UN, it will not be automatic.
04:18It will still come up with a process.
04:21And we are praying that, you know, the national law and the provisions of the law will prevail.
04:31The National Maritime Council was asked if this is the time for the Philippines to face the Philippine Navy.
04:38What we want to happen is actually, when you put a Navy vessel, it will only escalate the tension.
04:46The strategy is, it's always a white ship play because that is the personality of the Coast Guard.
04:54Peaceful, police, but the Navy is on the defense side.
04:58So if you put a gray on a gray, it can escalate the situation.
