00:00Although the year 2024 is not yet over, the number of incidents of fire has already exceeded the number of incidents in the entire year 2023.

00:07From January 1 to 8 this morning, there were 16,836 incidents of fire in the country, more than the 16,433 that were reported last year.

00:20In fact, this is the most reported since 2019 when there were more than 18,000 fire incidents in the entire country.

00:28And every March, if there is a Fire Prevention Month, this happens more often.

00:33Of the number of incidents of fire this year, more than Php 9.6 billion is the value of this incident.

00:40Almost 300 people were killed while more than 1,300 were injured.

00:45To avoid fire, the Bureau of Fire Protection again reminds us to avoid overloading the outlets or those that are connected to the outlets.

00:53Remove the appliances and the LPG tank if not in use.

00:58Do not leave the kitchen if someone is cooking.

01:01Put the flammable items away from the children in high and crowded places.

01:07If there is a fire, make sure to kill all of it and throw it in the right place.
