00:00An UMNO Supreme Council member has challenged Muhyiddin Yassin to name the 115 MPs who supposedly

00:11backed him to become Prime Minister in 2022.

00:15Responding to the Bursatu president's claim earlier today that his controversial claim

00:20was factual, Pua Tzarkashi said,

00:23If it's a fact, I challenge Muhyiddin to reveal the names of the MPs that he alleges supported

00:29him to be the 10th Prime Minister.

00:31Muhyiddin courted controversy when he recently questioned why he was not invited by the 16th

00:37Yang di-Pertuan Agong, al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, to become Prime Minister

00:42after the 2022 general election.

00:45He said he had obtained a majority and had the backing of enough MPs to form the government.

00:52His remarks led to a range of police reports being lodged against him and a rebuke by

00:56the Pahang Crown Prince, Tengku Hassan al-Ibrahim Alam Shah, who said Muhyiddin had deliberately

01:02disparaged the former king.

01:04Earlier today, Muhyiddin defended his remark, which is now subject of a police investigation,

01:09saying it was factual, not meant to incite the public, and not intended to insult the monarchy.
