00:26Ever since it was confirmed that Denis Villeneuve would adapt the second half of Frank Herbert's

00:31novel, questions about how he would handle Paul Atreid's younger sister arose.

00:35This was due to the stranger aspects of Alia, who is a young child mature beyond her years

00:40and aided by powers passed down from Lady Jessica's Bene Gesserit training.

00:52The expectation of seeing a completely book-faithful version of Alia Atreid's in Dune 2 existed
