00:00The two ships of the Philippine Coast Guard were destroyed after the ships of the China Coast Guard were bombed.

00:05The Chinese Coast Guard also launched a ship of the Philippines to bomb their ship.

00:21the BRP Bagacay and the Chinese Coast Guard Vessel 21551 bombed

00:26earlier at 13.30 am in Escoda Shoal.

00:29The BRP Bagacay is part of the Rotation and Reprovision Mission

00:33in Patag and Lawak Islands in the West Philippine Sea.

00:35The PCG said that the CCG Vessel bombed the Bagacay twice

00:39which caused minor structural damage.

00:42But the China Coast Guard said in their post that the Philippines

00:45deliberately bombed the ship of the China Coast Guard.

00:48In another video, the China Coast Guard said that the PCG's ship suddenly turned around

00:53and bombed their ship.

00:55But according to the National Task Force of the West Philippine Sea Spokesperson,

00:59Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya,

01:01the video was just a copy of the video that was spliced and edited from China.

01:25It was the other way around.

02:43The National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea was dismayed

02:46by the actions of the China Coast Guard

02:48after the Philippines and China reached an agreement

02:51on a bilateral consultation mechanism

02:53on resupplying the BRP Sierra Madre in Iungin Shoal.

02:57According to the former Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio,

02:59the destruction of the Coast Guard vessels

03:01is a sufficient basis to file a complaint

03:04under the United Nations Convention on the Laws of the Sea.

03:07The best thing since the Coast Guard is a civilian vessel,

03:15this is now governed by UNCLOS.

03:18It's unlike Iungin Shoal which is a military activity.

03:21This is a civilian activity.

03:23We can go to UNCLOS and sue China for damages

03:28and the tribunal will reaffirm that that is part of the EEZ

03:34and that will again debunk China's 10-dash line.

03:37In a statement, US Ambassador to the Philippines,

03:41Mary Kay Carlson, condemned the dangerous maneuvers

03:43of the China Coast Guard

03:44that endangered the lives of the crew

03:47and destroyed two PCG vessels.

03:49America is supporting the rights of friends,

03:53allies, and allies under international law.
