00:00The name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
00:20The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy
00:25Spirit be with you all.
00:30Dear brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins and prepare ourselves to celebrate
00:36the sacred mysteries.
00:45I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in
00:52my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through
00:58my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.
01:03Therefore, I ask Blessed Mary, our Virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers
01:09and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
01:14May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:21Amen.
01:22Lord, have mercy.
01:23Lord, have mercy.
01:24Christ, have mercy.
01:25Christ, have mercy.
01:26Lord, have mercy.
01:27Lord, have mercy.
01:28Let us pray.
01:29O God, who caused the minds of the faithful to unite in a single purpose, grant your people
01:44to love what you command and to deserve what you promise, that amid the uncertainties of
01:51this world, our hearts may be fixed on that place where true gladness is found.
01:57Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
02:02the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
02:12A reading from the book of Ezekiel.
02:16The word of the Lord was addressed to me as follows.
02:20Son of man, I am about to deprive you suddenly of the delight of your eyes, but you are not
02:27to lament, not to weep, not to let your tears run down.
02:34Grow in silence, do not go into mourning for the dead, nor to turban round your head, put
02:42your sandals on your feet, do not cover your beard, do not eat common bread.
02:51I told this to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening, and the next
02:57morning I did as I had been ordered.
03:01The people then said to me, Are you not going to explain what meaning these actions have
03:07for us?
03:09I replied, The word of the Lord has been addressed to me as follows.
03:15Say to the house of Israel, The Lord says this, I am about to profane my sanctuary,
03:23the pride of your strength, the delight of your eyes, the passion of your souls.
03:30Those of your sons and daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword, and
03:36you are to do as I have done.
03:39You must not cover your beards or eat common bread.
03:43You must keep your turbans on your heads, and your sandals on your feet.
03:49You must not lament or weep.
03:51You shall waste away owing to your sins, and groan among yourselves.
03:57Ezekiel is to be a sign for you.
04:00You are true just as he has done.
04:03And when this happens, you will learn that I am the Lord.
04:09The word of the Lord.
04:11Thanks be to God.
04:13The response, You have forgotten God who gave you birth.
04:20You forgot the Lord who begot you, and mindful now of the God who fathered you.
04:27The Lord has seen this, and in his anger cast off his sons and his daughters.
04:34You have forgotten God who gave you birth.
04:38I shall hide my face from them, he says, and see what becomes of them, for they are
04:44a deceitful brood, children with no loyalty in them.
04:49You have forgotten God who gave you birth.
04:52They have roused me to jealousy with what is not God.
04:57They have angered me with their beings of nothing.
05:00I then will rouse them to jealousy with what is not people.
05:05I will anger them with an empty-headed nature.
05:11Gospel acclamation.
05:13Alleluia, Alleluia.
05:15Happy the poor in spirit.
05:17The kingdom of heaven is theirs.
05:19Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
05:24The Lord be with you, and with your spirit.
05:27A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew.
05:34There was a man who came to Jesus and asked,
05:36Master, what good deed must I do to possess eternal life?
05:42Jesus said to him, Why do you ask me about what is good?
05:48There is one alone who is good, but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.
05:56He said, Which?
06:00Jesus replied, You must not kill, you must not commit adultery, you must not bring false
06:06witness.
06:07Honor your father and mother, and you must your labor as yourself.
06:15The young man said to him, I have kept all these.
06:19What more do I need to do?
06:21Jesus said, If you wish to be perfect, go and serve what you own and give the money
06:28to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.
06:31Then come, follow me.
06:33But when the young man heard these words, he went away sad, for he was a man of great
06:40wealth.
06:44The Gospel of the Lord.
06:58Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received
07:15the bread we offer you, fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for
07:19us the bread of life.
07:29By the mystery of this water and wine may we come to share in the divinity of Christ
07:35who humbled himself to share in our humanity.
07:39Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received
07:59the wine we offer you, fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual
08:04drink.
08:09With humble spirit and kindred heart, may we be accepted by you, O Lord, and may our
08:19sacrifice in your sight this day be pleasing to you, Lord God.
08:23Watch me, O Lord, from my iniquity and grace, but from my sins.
08:29Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty
08:44Father.
08:45May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name,
08:50for our good and the good of all his holy church.
08:54Let us pray.
08:56O Lord, who gained for yourself a people by adoption, through the one sacrifice offered
09:02once for all, bestow graciously on us, we pray, the gifts of unity and peace in your
09:07church, through Christ our Lord.
09:11The Lord be with you and with your spirit.
09:17Lift up your hearts, we lift them up to the Lord.
09:21Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
09:23It is right and just.
09:26It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give
09:31you thanks, Father most holy, through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your Word through
09:36whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the
09:41Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
09:44Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as
09:49he endured his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
09:55And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we
10:01acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
10:08Hosanna in the highest.
10:09Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
10:12Hosanna in the highest.
10:19You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
10:22Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like
10:27the new born, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10:41At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread and gave it
10:46to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it.
10:49For this is my Body, which will be given up for you.
11:02In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice once more, giving thanks,
11:07giving to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it.
11:12For this is the chalice of my Blood, the Blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will
11:17be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
11:20Do this in memory of me.
11:32The mystery of faith.
11:35When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you
11:39come again.
11:47Therefore, as we celebrate the memory of his death and resurrection, we offer you,
11:52Lord, the Bread of Life and the Chalice of Salvation, giving thanks that you have held
11:56us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
12:00Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into
12:05one by the Holy Spirit.
12:07Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of
12:11charity, together with Francis our Pope, Charles our Bishop, and all the clergy.
12:15Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the Resurrection,
12:21and all who have died in your mercy.
12:23Welcome them into the light of your face.
12:26Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed
12:30Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have pleased you throughout
12:35the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through
12:41your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:46Through him, and with him, and in him, O God Almighty Father, the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:52all glory and honour is yours, for ever and ever.
13:02At the Saviour's command, and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say, A Father who art
13:08in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in
13:15heaven.
13:15Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
13:21trespass against us.
13:22And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
13:26Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
13:29Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free
13:34from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our
13:39Saviour, Jesus Christ.
13:42For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever.
13:48Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, live
13:53not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and
13:58unity, in accordance with your will, who live and reign for ever and ever.
14:03Amen.
14:04The peace of the Lord be with you always, and with your spirit.
14:09Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
14:20May the mingling of this body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ, bring eternal life
14:25to us always.
14:30Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
14:35Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
14:39Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
14:46May the receiving of your body and blood, Lord Jesus Christ, not bring me to judgment
14:51and condemnation, but through your loving mercy, be for me protection in my dead body
14:55and a healing remedy.
14:56Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world, blessed are those
15:13called to the supper of the Lamb.
15:15Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my
15:28soul shall be healed.
15:32The glory of Christ keep me safe for eternal life.
15:35My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
15:40I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
15:45Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
15:51I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
15:57Never permit me to be separated from you.
15:59Amen.
16:06Let us pray.
16:09Complete within us, O Lord, we pray the healing work of your mercy
16:14and graciously perfect and sustain us so that in all things we may please you through Christ
16:20our Lord.
16:21The Lord be with you.
16:23May Almighty God bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
16:31Go and live the gospel.
