Florida State's Pivotal Season Opener Against Georgia Tech

00:00Let's get started off. Florida State playing with the chip on their shoulder all season.
00:04There's no question that this is going to be a very pivotal season as far as attitude for them.
00:10They're going to want to show the college football world that not only should they have been in the college football playoff,
00:14maybe that they would have won it, they're ranked 10th coming into the season.
00:17They take on a Georgia Tech team that, once again, Bill, it feels like the Yellow Jackets,
00:22once every like four years are good and then the other three, they're not very good.

00:31so I guess we're not going to have a shortage of offense in this game, are we?
00:35No, and there's a fascination, obviously, with Florida State and DJ Uyengilele.

00:45Coming over from Oregon State, coming over from Clemson, how does he look in this offense?
00:50That's one piece of the puzzle.
00:52Patrick Payton, the edge rusher on the other side for the Seminoles, really good player as well.

01:05They have a strong running game.
01:07Their defense was terrible against the run, though, 128th.
01:10So I think Florida State's going to test the running game early, let DJ Uyengilele settle in and go from there.
01:16That spread, though, looks a little high to me,
01:19knowing that Georgia Tech was 7-2 against the spread under Brent Key last year.
01:24I don't know if they're an ACC championship contender,
01:26but I think they can hang around while both these teams get their footing in a, let's just say, unfamiliar setting.
