00:18the unit that receives the 9-1-1 emergency calls that need police assistance.

00:31The scenario is that there is a robbery incident in a place in Quezon City.

00:35Respondents were rushed to the scene.

00:37The police were not there for more than a minute.

00:40But the problem is that there are only a few people who receive the 9-1-1 emergency calls.

00:44Most of them are prank calls and drop calls.

00:46Some of them even order pizza.

00:49Of the 30,000 calls received by the 9-1-1 National Call Center, only 700 are legit.

00:55DILG Secretary Behner Abalos is warning the prank callers that their days are numbered

01:01because the system is about to have the ability to find the exact location of the caller.

01:06That's why the prank callers can be charged.

01:10It's a big thing for the police if there is a feature like this in the system

01:13because their response will be faster.
