01:39 To ensure the zero casualty and safety of the residents living near the rivers in La Castellana in Negros Occidental,

01:48 the LGU again carried out a forced evacuation of the residents.

01:54 Because of the heavy rain,

01:57 some residents in three barangays in La Castellana were evacuated yesterday afternoon.

02:03 The residents are from the barangays of Biak na Bato, Kalapnagan, and Bulacanag.

02:08 According to the evacuees who were contacted by the news team from Biak na Bato,

02:13 most of them live near the rivers.

02:16 They were told several times by the LGU that the flood started

02:20 following the eruption of Mount Kanaon.

02:22 Their place was evacuated first because it is dangerous.

02:26 But they decided to follow the advice of the LGU

02:30 because they are also worried that their homes and pets were left behind.

02:36 According to the volcano observatory,

02:38 the water level in the rivers and the rocks from the volcano became thin.

02:44 It is just a muddy stream flow and not a lahar flow.

02:47 The FEEBOX also clarified that despite the decreasing seismic activity
