00:59The drone has a marking HY-119.

01:07All information that this equipment can gather has commercial, scientific, and military use.
01:14It can conduct mapping of the subsurface.
01:17All of those are important for any countries that has subsurface capability, subsurface warfare capability.
01:24We are treating it as a national security matter.
01:28We can file a diplomatic protest,
01:30but the diplomatic protest needs to be supported by a formal result that came up by our Philippine Navy.
01:38But the government hasn't filed a protest yet because no country is committing to the drone.
01:44It's also hard to know where the drone came from because they don't know when it was released
01:49and it only follows the waves of the sea, according to the Department of Defense.
01:52The Philippine Navy's investigation continues.
01:55Even though it's taking a long time because they are taking care that the drone won't be damaged while it's being distributed,
01:59the Department of Foreign Affairs is convinced that China won't ask for it.
02:03If they ask it back, it means that there might be data hidden inside.
02:08Maybe there's something dangerous there.
02:11If they withdraw it from the Scarborough Shore, if they withdraw it from Mount Tehique,
02:16if they withdraw it from the ships that are harassing us when we supply to Sierra Madre,
02:23we might consider it, but they're not going to ask it back, sir.
02:27Because it's admitting that they're violating a territorial sea.
02:32Until yesterday, China's monster ship, 77 nautical miles from Caponis Island in Zambales,
02:39was still able to pass through despite the Philippines' earlier calls to withdraw it from our Exclusive Economic Zone.

03:32and helped President Bongbong Marcos to strengthen the Philippine-Japan alliance
03:38as part of the trilateral cooperation between the two countries in America.
03:42In a telephone conversation between President Marcos and outgoing US Vice President Kamala Harris,
03:47the rule of law and rights of the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea were discussed.
