00:00For the customers of Meralko who have just announced the increase in price this month,
00:09there is also an expectation of an increase in your electric bill starting in October and for the next 11 months.
00:16This is in line with the agreement of the Energy Regulatory Commission that Meralko will increase the price of the electricity they get from the two gas plants.
00:26According to the ERC, the increase is expected to reach P32 to P33 per kWh.
00:34That is equivalent to a P66 increase for those who consume 200 kWh per month.
00:41This Tuesday, Meralko announced an increase of P3 per kWh this month.
