00:29The GMA Network Chairman, Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and Chief Executive Officer, Gilberto Duavid, Jr.

00:39and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Felipe S. Yalong,

00:44as well as other high-ranking officials of the GMA Network,

00:48as well as other media organizations.

00:55Print and online media, television and radio networks, and the tech giant, Google,

01:02also joined the fight against fake news in universities and colleges from Metro Manila,

01:11Luzon,

01:14Visayas,

01:16and Mindanao.

01:20The Commission on Elections also joined the fight against fake news.

01:27The fight against fake news is a continuation of a long-standing crusade

01:36to safeguard the integrity of discourse.

01:40For a problem so wide and deep, it needs a massive undertaking to fight it.

01:50The time has come, the election is coming,

01:53for all of us, for all communities, for all media institutions, media groups,

02:01as well as for all political parties,

02:03to join us in the fight against fake news.

02:08So this is one occasion where we all came together

02:14and we're very happy, proud, and thankful

02:18that we were joined by other institutions

02:22that also have the same goal of fighting fake news.
