07:26in this area of Tosa called Black Wall Street.
07:30Because of the success,
07:32this whole community was leveled to the ground.

39:41The idea was to exude sexiness and femininity
39:44and something light,
39:45but at the same time, we wanted to show
39:47I was highly impressed by the craftsmanship of the skirt.
39:50There was very little puckering.
39:51And so to me, that was the first thing
39:53from a technique point of view that stood out to me.

40:50but then clashing between the male and the female.
40:53The fabric specifically make me feel a little bit
40:55like I'm looking at a shower curtain caught
40:58in a fishing net.
40:59It's a little visually confusing.
41:03I love the nod to lingerie.
41:05It's like a boxer short with a brief.
41:08I just feel like maybe if we lost the stomach piece,
41:10we would be having a different conversation.
41:12It could have been this really beautiful coat
41:14over something that's really overtly sexy.

42:07are things I've learned from my season 19
42:09that I've went home and kind of expand on.
42:11Every time you say something to me, I take notes.
42:13I take notes from everybody's critiques,
42:14top and bottoms, trying to not be in the bottom.
42:18Tell us about your look.
42:19So my look was inspired by the boyfriend shirt,
42:22but the girlfriend's corset.
42:24And of course, he's a cool guy,
42:26probably have a bike,
42:27and he has this cool bomber jacket.
42:29It was so wonderfully gender neutral,
42:32and yet it had all the elements of gender.
42:35And that, to me, is a statement.
42:38You're an original.
42:38Thank you. Coming from you, that's huge.
42:42Project, these are all pieces that we've seen before,
42:47but you understand what you do well,
42:49and you figure out ways to remix it and keep it fresh.

43:50and they had their own businesses,
43:52and how beautiful the fashion was.
43:54A very modern version of 1920s.

44:00Just the restraint and the luxeness of the look
44:04when it came out.
44:05You made that panty out of silk wool,
44:07which has absolutely no stretch in it,
44:10and it lays like it's a spandex panty.
44:12I love when a designer takes a chance on a color

44:19I have to tell you that your costume design background
44:22really served you in this challenge.

50:55Also, it was not Coteau's night either.

51:00that bra was ill-fitting and the cups were lopsided.
51:04The skirt was tacked and gathered.
51:06It was very reliant on the fabric.
51:08And I don't know that the design really said anything.
51:11And why are all of those things going together?
51:14I feel like Coteau's look was uninspired.
51:17What are my grandma's lace napkins doing on her breast?
51:22I know that we're talking about Coteau and Fabio,
51:24but there is also Laurence.
51:26She took a basic corset waist center
51:28and put it on a beautiful suit.
51:29And on a beautiful set of abs.
51:30That was my problem.
51:33What I think Nina Garcia would sit here and say
51:35is, did Laurence have a bad night?
51:37Yes.
51:38You sound just like her.
51:40It's really about the look today and the challenge today
51:43and who delivered.
51:45Fabio is, he is a brilliant designer.
51:47But I definitely see the potential
51:49But I definitely see the passion in Coteau.
