00:02:04Buckle up everyone, because this year we're going island-like.
00:02:20The block 2024 is situated on the idyllic family holiday location of Phillip Island,
00:02:26just a short drive from Melbourne.
00:02:33To keep with the idyllic family holiday vibe,
00:02:38we bought a run-down resort with eight two-bedroom holiday villas.
00:02:44Make it brighter for me.
00:02:48It also comes with a tennis court, a pool and a clubhouse.
00:02:56The plan is to take two existing holiday villas
00:02:59and join them together to make houses one, two, three and four.
00:03:04These will become four-bedroom, five-bathroom mega family holiday homes
00:03:09with plunge pools.
00:03:11While house five, an existing two-storey home,
00:03:14will create yet another mega holiday home.
00:03:19Hard it's fair to say that today,
00:03:22as our eager contestants prepare to see it for the first time...

00:03:58and the pieces used to create new structures for the contestants' arrival.

00:04:47Jessie is 29 years old and a carpenter,
00:04:50a very handy skill on this show.

00:05:02honed by years of working on luxury homes.
00:05:05We're coming up to a house I recently finished end of last year,
00:05:09and obviously the carpentry work was epic.
