00:16Azizi was responding to allegations by Kelantan Menteri Besar Nasruddin Daud, who claimed

00:21that he received a letter from Azizi for the post.

00:25Azizi, the former Ninggeri Assemblyman, said he was instructed to apply for the position

00:30by Kelantan Bersatu Chief Kamaruddin Noor after PAS failed to fulfil promises made to

00:35Bersatu, including offering another seat in lieu of Galas and a 30 per cent quota for

00:41village heads.

00:43On Thursday, Nasruddin claimed in a ceramah for the Ninggeri Bayi election that Azizi

00:47had written to him to seek the chairman's position at Syarikat Ladang Sungai Tera Sendram

00:52Berhad, currently held by the Kelantan Menteri Besar.

00:56Azizi also claimed that PAS was trying to control all administrative matters in Kelantan

01:01even though Bersatu, its coalition partner in Perikatan Nasional, had won several seats

01:07in the state.

01:08Bersatu holds five seats in Kelantan State Assembly compared to PAS' 37, not including

01:14the vacant Ninggeri seat.

01:15Bersatu's seats are Kok Lanas, Gual Ipoh, Bukit Bunga, Air Lanas and Paloh.
