00:00Pakistan's army is a national army.
00:05First of all, you should ask where do the officers, soldiers, veterans, martyrs and their children come from?
00:18They come from the country of Tulaur, Gilgit, Baltistan, Quetta, Kashmore, Multan, Pindi,
00:27cities, villages, Laki Marwat, Peshawar.
00:33They come from all religions and religions.
00:36And the most important thing to understand is that they come from the middle class of this country.
00:42They come from middle class, from poor families.
00:45So, your army, its officers, its soldiers are not from this country.
00:50This is the army of the middle class, of poor families, of all colors, of all religions, of all areas, of all generations.
01:03And it works under a merit-based system.
01:06And the first and foremost priority of the officers and soldiers is Pakistan.
01:13And that is why you see that the officers and soldiers have the most precious thing.
01:21What is it? It is their life.
01:23They are not always ready to sacrifice their lives for the security of this country.
01:30And this process of sacrificing lives has been going on since 1947.
01:34And it will continue, God willing.
01:36But for this, the all credit doesn't go to us.
01:41Its main credit goes to these brave mothers of Pakistan.
01:47Those mothers who give their hearts to this army, to these law-enforcing institutions,
01:56so that they can continue to flourish in this country through them.
01:59So, what you need to know is that your army,
02:03this army, is not running with a particular political ideology,
02:07an angle, a group, a party, a religion, an ideology.
02:15It is running with Pakistan and Pakistan's progress.
02:19And it has never hesitated in that.
02:21So, the officers, the soldiers, the institutions that are ready to sacrifice their lives,
02:26if the government of the time, or any government,
02:28gives any work according to the law,
02:31in which there is the benefit of Pakistan, then why will it back down?
02:34What is the point of it backing down after that?
02:37So, we have been doing this work and we will continue to do it.
02:40And you should also know that,
02:43we all understand that the economic security that you have,
02:49the economic security, Pakistan has a big challenge.
02:52So, if this economic security is really a challenge,
02:55then if the government, according to the law,
03:00gives any work to the army,
03:03then the army always participates in it.
03:06And for that, whether it is in the SIFC, which you mentioned,
03:10whether it is in agriculture, education, health,
03:14providing employment opportunities,
03:17providing the security of the businesses,
03:20in natural disasters,
03:22then wherever there is the benefit of the people,
03:27Pakistan being a national army,
03:30and a representation of the middle and lower classes of this country,
03:34will never hesitate and has never hesitated.
03:36And we should also know that,
03:38the war that we are fighting against terrorism,
03:41I have said this before,
03:45that it is not only about kinetic operations.
03:48For this, a whole of the nation approach is needed in all domains.
03:52And in this, education, health, employment, economic and social development are very important.
03:57So, you must have seen in my briefing,
04:00that the places where the deployment of the army is more,
04:03the areas where we have more internal security,
04:06there we have more focus in these projects.
04:10And the question also is,
04:12is it the Pakistan army or the exclusive army in the world that is doing this work?
04:17If you look at it,
04:18then in the whole world,
04:20in most of the countries, their army,
04:23the economic and social projects,
04:26they support their government and their people.
04:29There are many examples of this.
04:31The only difference is that,
04:33there, their work is seen with respect and admiration.
04:37Our problem is that,
04:39for our political purposes,
04:42for our narrow interests,
04:44we make it a target of criticism.
04:45And this is because,
