00:00Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ala Rasoolillah
00:06Let us take dua after Adhan.
00:08When Adhan is called out,
00:10one should listen to it calmly,
00:13leaving all other things and reply to it.
00:16After the Adhan is over, recite this dua.
00:19The Messenger of Allah ï·º said,
00:22whoever recites this dua after hearing the Adhan
00:25will deserve my intercession, my shafa'ah.
00:29So what is that dua?
00:30It is, Allahumma rabba hadihi da'wati ta'ma wassalatil qa'ima
00:35O Allah, the Rab of this complete call
00:38and the prayer that is going to be established.
00:41Allahumma, O Allah.
00:44Rab, is the Rab.
00:46Hadihi, this.
00:47Why hadihi?
00:49Because the next word is ad-da'wa.
00:51Ad-da'wa is feminine.
00:53Da'wa means call.
00:55And ta'ma means complete.
00:59Ad-da'wati ta'ma, complete call.
01:02Hada is for masculine, hadihi is for feminine.
01:05That's why we have hadihi da'wati ta'ma.
01:08This complete call.
01:12Wassalatil qa'ima.
01:14Salah means prayer.
01:16Qa'ima, that which is going to be established.
01:19So ad-da'wati ta'ma, the perfect call, the complete call.
01:23Because adhan is a call for belief and obedience.
01:27It is an invitation for everyone to receive the good of this world
01:31and the hereafter.
01:32Assalatil qa'ima, the prayer that is going to be established.
01:36The second meaning of this is the prayer which is always established.
01:40Salatil qa'ima, always standing there, established there.
01:43Meaning of the first sentence of the du'a in brief will be
01:46O Rab of adhan and the salah.
01:49Aati muhammadanil wasilata wal fadila
01:52Aati means give.
01:54We repeat this word so many times.
01:56Rabbana aatinaa fi al dunya.
01:58Aati, give, naa, us.
02:00So aati, give.
02:01Muhammadan, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
02:05Al wasila, a high level of paradise.
02:07Al wasila is a high level of paradise.
02:11Wal fadila, fadila means special virtue.
02:14Al fadila, the special virtue.
02:16Aati muhammadanil wasilata wal fadila.
02:19Give Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
02:21Al wasila and the special virtue.
02:25You see, today we are thousands of miles away
02:28and almost 1500 years after Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam's call to Islam.
02:33Listening to the adhan and offering prayer in a nearby masjid.
02:37It is by the grace of Allah
02:39and then because of the sacrifices of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
02:43who strived all his life to spread Islam.
02:47That's why we are after listening to adhan
02:51praying for Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
02:54Al wasila, which is a high rank in Jannah.
02:58Wal fadila and the special virtue.
03:01That is the messenger of Allah be rewarded the highest and the most elevated position.
