00:00I mean, we heard Donald Trump say himself,
00:03if you vote this time, you'll never have to vote again.
00:06Now, I don't know about y'all,
00:08but that is very, very concerning for me.
00:12And because I know that when it comes to power
00:17in this country, that whether you are black, white,
00:20rich, poor, gay, straight, Democrat, Republican,
00:24everybody gets one vote.
00:26So we need to make sure that we are taking this power back
00:30and that we are using it
00:31and that we're not being selfish in that
00:34and that we're spreading the power
00:35and empowering young people, empowering our community
00:39to make sure that they understand the power that they hold
00:42because this election is truly going to be
00:45the most consequential of our life.
00:47These people aren't playing games.
00:49One of the things that I respect
00:51is that they are relentless about their pursuit of power.
00:53We have to vote from the top of the ticket to the bottom
00:56because every position matters in this game called politics.
01:03If we win the presidency,
01:04but we don't have a House or a Senate
01:06to support that presidency,
01:08then we're gonna be in big trouble.
01:09So we have to make sure that we are crystal clear
01:12about what's at stake and what we need to do
01:15to preserve this fragile thing called democracy.
