00:00you can't expect to be served unless you RSVP, right?
00:03So if I have a wedding and I send you an invitation
00:07and I tell you RSVP to my wedding
00:10and let me know your food preference, right?
00:12If you don't RSVP, I have no intentions on serving you.
00:16I gave you an invitation.
00:17Or if you have allergies
00:18and you don't put the allergies there.
00:19Right, I cannot serve you.
00:21So I say the same thing when it comes to voting
00:24is that people would say like,
00:25oh, black people don't vote or young people don't vote.
00:28And so I tell my audience when people are like,
00:30oh, my vote doesn't matter or I'm not gonna vote.
00:32And I'm like, okay.
00:33So then I don't wanna hear you talk about
00:35what a candidate is doing for black people
00:37or doing for your community because you did not RSVP.
00:41So they don't expect you to show up.
00:43So they're not gonna serve you.
00:45The way that we RSVP to being served,
00:48to having the issues that we are most concerned
00:51about being addressed is by voting.
00:54They look at those numbers, right?
00:55When we watch the news today,
00:58whether it's a controversy or it's something good,
01:01we hear oftentimes of news reporters and journalists
01:06announcing someone's voting record, right?
01:08That is on record.
01:10They know how you vote.
01:11They know when you vote, how often you're voting right
01:14and what you are voting for.
01:15That is your RSVP.
01:17That is your key for these candidates to say,
01:20oh, these are the issues I need to be concerned about
01:22because I don't give a darn how much you gerrymander
01:24and how much you redline or do what you gonna do.
01:27The numbers are going to be there.
01:29It's okay.
01:30It's okay.
01:30It's okay.
01:31It's okay.
01:32It's okay.
01:33It's okay.
