00:19Finance Secretary Ralph Recto was present

00:22and one by one, the false accusations that were thrown at the PhilHealth fund were denied.

00:27First, the allegations that the PhilHealth members will not move the contribution.

00:32They said that the PhilHealth members will not move the contribution of the PhilHealth members

00:43because the fund is from the excesses and does not use government subsidies.

00:51The Department of Finance denied that it is illegal to collect funds from the sleeping funds under the GOCC.

00:58This is not illegal.

00:59This is in accordance with the law, Republic Act No. 11975 or the General Appropriations Act of 2024.

01:14We are not implementing this automatically because we are just being asked if the law has merit.

01:21One thing, the fund can be moved.

01:24Recto said that it can be moved to infrastructure such as Metro Manila Subway and many others.

01:30PhilHealth remitted Php20 billion to the Treasury.

01:35We respect the cash management operations of PhilHealth.

01:39We have a remittance schedule.

01:42This is not a one-time, big-time.

01:45Let's help each other to provide a good service to our countrymen,

01:50especially those who cannot be found, the helpless.

01:55PhilHealth announced some good news regarding the hearing.

01:58When will you recommend to the President to lower the premium on PhilHealth?

02:10Actually, yes. Especially after this very nice hearing that just happened, we will do it immediately.
