00:04Miyapo on Tuesday evening at Asaba, the state's capital, killing two policemen attached to

00:09It was gathered that the two police orderlies attached to her and her driver were feared

00:13Hon. Joanne Onyemechi Miyapo was one-term member of the Nigeria House of Representatives
00:17who represented Anyoja and Oshimili federal constituency in Delta State.
00:21Miyapo had resigned her appointment to enable her younger brother to contest the chairmanship
00:25election of Anyoja's South Local Government Council according to reports.
00:28Her resignation followed Miyapo a series of protests against the siblings following her
00:32brother's interest in the chairmanship position while she held a position in the state cabinet.
00:36We learnt she was kidnapped around 4pm on Tuesday by gunmen at the premises of her church,
00:41Jesus N1, off DBS Road in Asaba.
00:44A video posted online showed group of people weeping with one of the policemen bodies seen
00:47lifeless on the ground.
00:48Meanwhile, Anyoma Media team has called on the general public to put the kidnapped former
00:53commissioner in the stands in prayers for her to return safe.
00:56In a statement signed and made available by Joel Okonkwo, the media team said,

01:03Hon. Joanne Miyapo, a transgressing former commissioner and rebel politician in Delta
01:07State, affectionately known as Ada Anyoma, was kidnapped while worshipping in her church.
01:12Tragically, two brave policemen lost their lives in the process, leaving behind a trail
01:16of grief and devastation.
01:18This despicable act has galvanized the Anyoma Media team to issue a heartfelt appeal to
01:21all Deltans, particularly the good people of Anyoma, to join in fervent prayer for her
01:25swift and safe release, as well as for the repose of the souls of the two fallen heroes.
01:30As the news of her abduction and the policemen's tragic deaths spread like wildfire, a sense
