00:00Because it's already an election, next year, the Senate will make sure that any funds in the 2025 National Budget will not be used for campaigning.

00:13As for the confidential and intelligence funds, Ma'am Gonzales is right.

00:22In the Senate's discussion on the 2025 National Budget in August 13, Senate President Cheese Escudero said that they will strictly monitor what's in here.

00:36Because the election year is 2025, they will make sure that it will not be used for campaigning.

00:43We already have a law that prohibits the use of funds like aid for the campaign of any candidate.

00:54Just like the previous budget, the confidential and intelligence funds or CIF will only be given to the agencies that really need it.

01:02It is also confirmed that the Philippine National Police or PNP and the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI will discuss in the budget deliberation

01:10why they have not yet arrested those who are being arrested by the Senate, like Mayor Alice Goh and Pastor Apollo Quibuloy.

01:18There are a lot of accusers that the criminals are bigger, that the prisoners are bigger, that they are not being arrested.

01:26It is shameful for the PNP that this cannot be done.

01:30Especially that they are still here in the country according to the Bureau of Immigration.

01:56According to the House Committee on Appropriations, which will first discuss the budget in the House of Representatives,

02:05I think each member of the majority bloc would be in full support of the President in giving more support to the Philippine Coast Guard

02:17and all other agencies that would help protect most especially our fisher folks in the West Philippine Sea.
