00:00Back to your phone calls and feedback champ and jump boats. We do it every Monday. There is a breaking news story at this hour
00:07according to Chris ballast of the Wolverine
00:10Sources have informed them that the NCAA is prepared to issue a notice of allegations
00:15Shortly for the sign stealing operation under former coach Jim Harbaugh level one violations are expected for former staffer Connor stallions
00:23Role and involvement in an arrangement of off-campus and in-person scouting and others expect to be levied against a former staffer for separate incident
00:30Involving dinner and a ride for student-athlete
00:33Stallions is expected to be charged with failure to cooperate in an investigation both during and after employment
00:38Well, no current staffers are facing allegations at least two other former coaches
00:43Who were involved in paying for a dinner for Michigan athletes are expected to be accused of level two violations?
00:49Story goes on to later say there's been no talk of vacating wins
00:54a source
00:55said that the NCAA could seek a post could seek a postseason ban of a year or two a Michigan source said that Michigan would
01:02have
01:03Accepted a large fine, but would absolutely fight any postseason ban or anything similar
01:07Some believe the NCAA is quote looking to make an example of Michigan for the Association
01:12They believe that Michigan was thumbing its nose at them throughout the investigation
01:15One source told the Wolverine this again from their story that Michigan's response probably wouldn't go before the NCAA committee on infractions
01:22before the middle of
01:242025 and it would likely take years to resolve and another in other words
01:28No U of M team in the near future is expected to be punished furthermore one source said they strongly believe the evidence
01:33Evidence doesn't support any such punishment. So that is the latest on that case
01:40We will see what comes out of it. I've
01:42Talked to a lot of people of Michigan about this
01:45and about that a lot of this could be fought and
01:49And there are some people to think maybe you don't maybe you just say fine whatever and move on from it
01:54I am I'm in the camp that when when this kind of stuff happens
01:59you're better off getting getting to the bottom of it as quickly as possible and
02:04The whole idea of fighting it through 2025. I mean who knows what the NCAA is gonna be at that time
02:10There's some smart people in charge of making these kinds of decisions
02:14The risk of that is it can drag out and hang over your program for a long time
02:18but then again if you're looking at postseason bands if that is indeed and it said it could be the thing then they might have
02:24to
02:25They might have to decide make a very difficult decision
02:28Yeah, I mean I agree with you that you'd want to get through this as quickly as you can
02:33but this this is
02:34Who knows how thick it is to get through, you know, the counter stallion stuff is is one of the crazier stories that we've had
02:44with the
02:46dressing up on the sidelines of Central Michigan, Michigan State came and
02:50maybe this is where this is coming from if they finally have some closure on on that situation and admission or whatever that
02:57That they can go through with this and you've got this it's timing up with the the Netflix special. That's supposed to come out next month
03:04right before the start of college football season with
03:08the the sign-stealing stuff, so
03:11Interested to see what evidence they actually have and we'll see how vociferously Michigan decides to fight it
03:19yes, and you know that that
03:22place has a lot of a lot of smart people in charge that can probably get to the bottom and figure out what the
03:27best route to take is
03:30But you
03:32My advice has always been the same get through it as quickly as possible
03:35which means sometimes you have to take medicine sometimes you don't sometimes you have to
03:40Do your own research to find out if it's even worth defending
03:44but I think you know, like I said, I've talked to people at the top and
03:49the idea that
03:51Trust some of the people there that are making decisions. I'll just say that
