10:39Are you always looking for the keys to the mailbox or the bicycle shed?

10:43We're going to show you how to make your own Crafty Kid key hanger.

10:47You need…

10:49A wooden board and some corks.

10:51Some sheets of Bristol board.

10:53Some black construction paper.

10:55Twist ties or ribbons in different colors.

10:57Some paint and a brush.

10:59Scissors, a white pencil.

11:01Glue, adhesive tape, a pencil and a ruler.

11:04Step one.

11:06Paint the board any color you like.

11:08Paint the corks four different colors.

11:11Choose a color for each member of the family.

11:14Step two.

11:16Trace three by five inch rectangles on the Bristol board.

11:20Cut them out.

11:22Then trace some three by three inch squares on the black paper.

11:26Cut them out too.

11:28Step three.

11:30Use a white pencil to draw the faces of each family member on the squares.

11:33Or you can use some photos instead.

11:36Step four.

11:37Glue these portraits on the Bristol rectangles.

11:40Then glue them along the top of the board.

11:43Position and glue a cork under each face.

11:47Use a different color for each member of your family.

11:50Step five.

11:52On the back of the key hanger, make some loops so you can put it on the wall.

11:55Some twist ties and adhesive tape will do the trick.

11:58Step six.

12:00Attach the keys to the length of ribbon.

12:02Now no one in the family can possibly lose their keys!
