00:00Welcome back. Welcome back. Thanks for having me. Everyone.
00:05Welcome. Happy to have you all here. Um and especially you.
00:11Hey. Yeah. Well, it's been a week. Two? Well. Well, you were
00:16on Sunday. But yeah. Good episode on Sunday. That was.
00:20I'm glad we finally got to. We've been we've been itching
00:22to cover that one for so long. Yeah. It needs to. It it's a
00:27major point of contention. You know. Can't say that today's
00:30episode is gonna be any good though. I can't say that. I
00:34could say it. I I could say that it's gonna be fun. Hey.
00:38But good or bad? I don't know. I think we'll leave that up to
00:42other people to discuss whether or not it's good or bad cuz I
00:45think they have certain expectations of us. Yeah, if
00:48you consider
00:51what you want to see in the kingdom, it's gonna be good.
00:56Okay. Because that's that's the sticking point for me is
01:00people who consider paradise or uh the kingdom of heaven on
01:05earth or heaven itself, whatever you picture when you
01:08think of something good in the hereafter from a vaguely
01:12Abrahamic standpoint at minimum, what do people usually
01:17seem to picture? They picture either A, a place where it's
01:21just everything they want and like an entire world, you know,
01:25like what dreams may come where your heaven is shaped by your
01:28own imagination and will or what you consider to be
01:31happiness. Then, there's others who picture just bliss. Just
01:36blind, pure, unadulterated bliss. Some might view uh
01:41chaos as something enjoyable. Kinda like river rafting or or
01:48kayaking on rapids of the Colorado River. Well, there is
01:52something to be said for controlled chaos and. Yeah,
01:54like near-death experiences. There are plenty of us
01:57adrenaline junkies out there who like to have a good time a
02:00bit more on the edge. I would say the guy on top there is
02:04probably having more fun than the guy that's closer to death.
02:08I don't know. Looks like a good time either way. I'm happy to
02:14say I've never had a kayaking experience go quite that
02:16direction though. Straight down. Yeah, straight down. Yeah.
02:20Caught between two rocks. And a few times. Yeah. No. Yeah, I'm
02:26good. Um life jackets don't, they don't save you from those
02:29situations. Helmets help. Yeah, so your death can be slower.
02:34Let's hope not. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm not saying that that's
02:39what we're going for here but well, cool, cool thing, cool
02:43factor. Uh New Kingdom, not to say that bodies are totally
02:49disposable but death is not a finale in the New Kingdom.
02:53Physical death. It's very much a it's not a major point. It is
02:59so people do still wanna take care of their bodies and uh
03:02we've got the leaves and the fruit of the tree of life to
03:05heal people and keep health optimized. Mm hmm. Beyond
03:09optimized, beyond anything that we've seen in the world today.
03:13Uh absurd level of health. But at the same time, for those in
03:19the inner kingdom, those who truly have the favor of God and
03:23acceptance into Christ's kingdom, not the outer
03:27darkness but Christ's kingdom, if you're smiled upon so,
03:32you're not really going to have to worry as much about losing a
03:37body because bodies are a suit that you wear. Very little more.
03:44Still, a valuable thing. Someone with billions of
03:49dollars doesn't just run a Lamborghini off a cliff because
03:53it's fun to watch it fly. They might but typically not
03:57something you would see happen. I think that's an apt
04:00analogy for the way bodies will be regarded in the New Kingdom
04:03within the kingdom proper. A lot of people think that when they
04:08go to heaven or when God's kingdom comes or you know,
04:12however they have it in their mind, how things are going to
04:16be for themselves. Some people default to, well, it's not
04:22gonna be anything like what it is, what we have now, and I
04:25gotta be able to, I gotta be willing to give up everything
04:28and everyone to be there. But there are some factors that we
04:35should consider and if we're worthy, this is one of them, if
04:38we're worthy to be considered for entry into the kingdom,
04:43it's very possible that those that we love may also be
04:46considered, including our pets. Yeah. Now, I haven't gone into a
04:51lot of detail about pets in the kingdom in the past because
04:54there is a bit of gray area there in terms of arrangement.
04:58See, the kingdom is going to be pristine. Absolutely pristine. I
05:05mean, on a germaphobic level, there's a reason sickness isn't
05:09a thing and it's not only because of the fruit and
05:12absurdly overpowered immune systems but also because the
05:16potential causes for sickness are going to be ruled out of
05:20the kingdom. So, it's going to be very clean place. As you
05:25would expect of heaven, right? But that means that pets won't
05:32be such a common sight within the kingdom proper. Oh, they're
05:37they're going to exist. They're going to have their place but
05:39it's going to be a bit more. And all your bulldogs and all
05:43your pugs will be with me on the mountain slopes and we will
05:46snowboard together. Yeah, you've done a bit of snowboarding,
05:49huh? It's my favorite thing in the whole world. And and this
05:55dog, he's my spirit animal. Yeah, it kind of reminds me of
06:01you a little bit. He's even a bit ginger. His face is exactly
06:06how I feel when I'm in the snow and I'm sure a lot of you can
06:09relate. Being here in Baja, Mexico for so long, man, snow is
06:15one of those things you just miss. And I am so looking
06:19forward to going and hitting the slopes again. Oh, man.
06:24There's going to be a lot of that. There's going to be all
06:27sort of in the kingdom. We're not just going to be all work.
06:32I've I've stressed numerous times how it's a productive
06:35society. People have duties and roles to fulfill. And as a
06:40Raylight, this has been something heavy on my heart
06:43because Raylights, we are trained to rule. We're being
06:48trained by the lord himself to rule in his way. And that to a
06:54lot of us who have become accustomed to that, you think
06:56it's going to be a lot of work because to truly do it right to
07:00do that duty and serve, it's a burden. We'll have to make
07:05certain arrangements for some people, you know, like for
07:07example, I'm I would request some kind of arrangement to
07:10an office established at a ski lodge. Or perhaps even just
07:15some kind of mobile office. Yeah, I was thinking along
07:18those lines. We're going to set you up with a a desk board.
07:23Yeah. You'll be going down the slopes typing away. Or like,
07:29you know, like a quest, like a quest three, you know? Or I
07:33could just go to go to work on my quests and then like go back
07:36to reality on the slopes, you know? Not that not that not
07:41that works, not a reality, but I'm just saying like if it's
07:43gotta be digital, then, you know, give me remote access.
07:48You could just dictate to your assistant, you know, as you're
07:51as you're going downhill, just be or on the lift or whatever
07:55you guys do. I've never touched snow so I can't say. I'm a
07:58Florida water man so. I'm gonna have a bulldog propelled board
08:02on on the ice and the snow by a team of them like sled dogs.
08:06Yep. But small. Yep. Yep. All team. Sounds good. So, you're
08:13gonna have a lot to do. There's going to be so much to
08:15look forward to. It's not all gonna gonna be work. It's going
08:18to be just as much play. You're gonna have sports. You're going
08:21to have tests of of your own capabilities against others.
08:26There's going to be competition. It's going to be
08:30good. There's going to be art. There's going to be whatever
08:33these Scottish guys are doing. Well, I'll tell you what. We're
08:35gonna be chugging trees cuz when people first saw this
08:38image, imagine that guy on the bottom right isn't there. It's
08:43just a log coming out of my head. That's what the audience
08:46was seeing. Like, why is there a big log there? What's fun
08:49about log? And if you haven't seen Ren and Stimpy, then I
08:53guess you wouldn't understand the fun of a log but this guy's
08:58having fun with log. He's in his element. Yeah, it's a 90s
09:02toy for those of you who weren't around in the 90s.
09:06Yeah. Yeah. When I was a pup, we had one toy and it was a
09:09stick. I don't know if Nickelodeon still owns the
09:12rights for that song but I don't wanna get flagged again
09:14for copyright but it's log. It's log. It's big. It's heavy.
09:19It's wood. It's log. It's log. It's better than bad. It's
09:24good. Truly astute words, sir. Yup. Yes.
09:32I was too young to appreciate Ren and Stimpy when it was out.
09:37Yeah, it was like a infomercial theme song for an
09:40advertisement of a new toy called Log. It's hilarious.
09:45Anyways, yeah. Reminds me of the Pet Rock which interestingly
09:49enough, it actually comes from the beaches of Rosarito. Mm.
09:52Which don't have many rocks. Not anymore. A bit further
09:55south, Primatopia. Oh, they harvested them all. That could
09:58be what happened. Yeah, they sell for like a lot of money
10:01now cuz they're low supply, high demand, apparently. Yeah,
10:07so we're actually in the place where Pet Rocks were invented.
10:10Go figure. Or at least that is a brand, the guy who made it.
10:16Gladiatorial sports. And we're encouraging people to sling
10:19logs. Yeah, sling logs wail upon each other with maces and
10:23whatnot. We're not going to be, there's a verse that mentions
10:27they will study war no more but that doesn't mean that there's
10:31no sport of combat. I think the guy with the shield has the
10:35advantage over the guy with knee pads. You know, knee pads do
10:39seem like an ineffective shielding method. And I hate, I
10:43hate to admit this but this guy's making gingers look bad.
10:48Can you blame him? I mean, he went for a leg shot and this
10:50guy's got springs for legs. He just retracted his legs. I'm
10:54just really happy for the guy that brought his kid to the
10:56show. Right, you know? He's gonna grow up, right? That's
11:00right. That's the kind of park you wanna be in. It's the place
11:05to raise children right here on the battlefield. As long as the
11:11gingers have knee pads. It's all he needs, man. Maybe he's just
11:15that good. Oh, these things. I've always wanted to give this
11:19a try. It's something to the effect of soccer but with yeah.
11:25This reminds me of that movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, Bubble
11:29Boy. Oh yeah. Another classic. You were a 90s movie. Oh my
11:34goodness. Sponge. I used to scream $500 over and over again
11:39when I first saw that movie. I thought that was the funniest
11:41thing I ever saw in a movie. He's like, you want $500? And
11:47it was a mud wrestling match and he won. You can't defeat a
11:51bubble boy in a mud mud wrestling match. Doesn't matter
11:54how many beautiful women you have. Yeah, I don't see any.
11:57That's a pretty heavy disadvantage unless they just
11:59all pick him up and. Yeah, they just jump on the bubble and
12:02slip right off and and he just pins him down. He won that
12:06$500. He earned it too. Lived his whole life in a
12:11bubble for $500. Sounds like a sport I'd pay to see. I don't
12:16know if I'd live in a bubble for $500 but yeah. First 16
12:20years of his life and all I got out of it was $500. Yeah, I'm
12:24not saying live in a bubble. Obviously, these people go home
12:27and have things they do. Hopefully, I like to imagine
12:30they have lives outside of the bubbles, you know. We like to
12:35imagine. That guy's probably a construction worker, a road
12:38worker with that vest on underneath, you know. I was not
12:42imagining anything for these people but now that you mention
12:45it, I do now try to picture how long they could possibly be in
12:49those things and remain comfortable. Imagine doing that
12:51and then going back to a regular job. What are you? What
12:55are you doing? I would think that there's a lot of risk for
12:58injury on everything that's outside the bubble. Yeah, you
13:03can be fine like you can roll your pulley around until you
13:06finally get to your legs and really just mess up your ankle
13:09or your knees. Just because of all the momentum. You just
13:13gotta go noodle. And how do you get up? You don't have arms to
13:17push yourself up. You really gotta roll onto your legs just
13:21the right way. You roll your way up. Or you just end up being
13:26like a turtle on its back. You just like there's no way to get
13:28I'd take up that challenge. I would watch. I would watch you
13:37take up that challenge. Oh, extreme swinging. That's going
13:40to be a sport. Yeah, for sure. Definitely. Not sarcastic at
13:44all. No, couldn't be. Is are there some of these things that
13:47I could not look forward to? Maybe that one. Cuz I don't I
13:51don't actually think. It looks like he's trying to say like
13:54change to another swing while he's doing it. Or maybe no.
13:58That's just an inactive swing. Yeah, he's just swinging by
14:02himself. And nobody's taking him seriously. Look. They have
14:07lives. They're having a family reunion over here. Grandma and
14:11Grandpa coming to see grandson with single dad over here. He's
14:17finally handing off the kid. Yep. This is why people grow up
14:21so they don't do this kind of **** I mean if you if if that's
14:25what growing up means to you then you're at a loss. I'm
14:28sorry. Yeah, have a family. Growing up means you can afford
14:31the helmet and knee pads now. Do do boring stuff like stand
14:33there and meet old people to look at you with your child. I
14:38don't think they're or do this. This these are two polar
14:41opposite lifestyles is what this is. How do you know he's
14:45not just dropping off the kid so he can go do extreme
14:47swinging? I think if he was I think he'd be pushing his own
14:53kid on that swing. We could get the kids doing extreme
14:56swinging. You know, give him a little helmet and bubble suit
15:00and just **** launch him. Oh, like that. Sorry. I do that. I
15:04think I said **** a couple of times but I don't think it's a
15:08problem. Yeah. Just not so so long as we have skydiving
15:11Scrabble. I think we'll be okay. I think people tend to
15:18view the kingdom as being a very stale prudish place but
15:21it's going. You can spell out your your your expletives. Oh
15:25man. Let me fill the board.
15:30People getting accused of inventing new words in that
15:33game all the time. Well, I've got a few that might, yeah,
15:36might seem new. Yeah, good luck pouring out a dictionary on
15:40this one, huh? Yeah, he's probably got it in his
15:43backpack. Had to take out the parachute. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:48What did you pack back there? You brought the dictionary this
15:51time? Yeah, we're playing Scrabble, right? We're playing
15:54to the death. The winner takes the backpack. The winner takes
15:59the parachute.
16:04Okay. So yeah, why not skydive? Yeah, why not? Um I, you know,
16:10one of the reasons I don't skydive is I don't wanna die.
16:13But if that's not such an issue anymore. You can ride a human
16:18squirrel. Deployable bubble suits are a thing. Yeah. Why
16:21not?
16:24Yeah, if I was a human flying squirrel, I would probably want
16:28a person to ride my back. Just to see how that goes. Add that
16:34to the bucket list. Would it be a very large person or a very
16:38small person? Smaller the better. But you know me. I have
16:43an affinity towards small people. Right on. For those of
16:48you that know me. Martial arts. Here's another fun one. There's
16:51going to be a lot of that as well because well, first of
16:55all, there are many spiritual benefits to martial arts that
16:57we could go on all day about as well but it's also fun. Some of
17:05us get off on combat. Some some people get off on getting
17:08kicked in the balls and being able to withstand that. That is
17:11a thing. And I'm pretty sure this guy works with them. I
17:14don't know about that. I've seen people wearing these same
17:17outfits looking just like this guy doing the horse stance and
17:21getting kicked in the balls over and over again. Same blue.
17:24I thought they wore yellow. Yeah, they wore orange. They're
17:27wearing orange but probably a difference. My opinion, it's
17:31close enough. It's a very specific group. Yeah. I've heard
17:34of that. Is it a specific group? Yeah, it's a specific
17:37group. Do they? They're kind of extreme with it. Oh, okay. I
17:41don't think this guy does that. But if he does. But if he does,
17:45he, I don't, okay, maybe he does, maybe he doesn't but I'm
17:48pretty sure he knows somebody that does.
17:54You would know if you did know somebody that's I don't think
17:58he'd admit to it right away. You'd have to get to know him
18:01a little bit first.
18:04Imagine having that be the first question you have to
18:06answer in a martial arts interview. Nobody's asking that
18:11question. Nobody, they're not asking the right questions here.
18:13That's the problem. Yeah, lots of water sports. The sea won't
18:19be what it is today but there will be large bodies of water
18:23all the same. You're not just gonna get rid of the entire
18:25ocean. Seas maybe. One sea or another. As scripture does say
18:30the sea would be removed from its place. The mountains and
18:33the islands would be moved from their place but there will
18:37still be these things just not as they were or not as they are
18:40now. Hopefully, less sharks.
18:47I don't know about that. I I never. Yeah, sharks. That's one
18:53of the reasons I'm kinda was like spooked about the ocean
18:56when I was a kid cuz that movie Jaws. And yeah, shark attacks
19:00do happen. Actually, recently, there was one in Egypt, I
19:04believe. It was pretty bad. Like, that dude actually got
19:06eaten, eaten. Yeah. Not just bit but eaten. I was very
19:09traumatized by movies when I was a child. I watched a lot of
19:12movies growing up. I was like, I was like that. Me too. You
19:15know, like that, that guy on. I still love to swim. Cable guy.
19:18Remember Cable guy with Jim Carrey? Kinda grew up watching
19:21movies. I felt like that kid growing up and I'll tell you
19:25what. There was one movie that got me like really frightened.
19:28A white supremacist. Robocop. They're in that? I was a gang
19:34of white people. I mean, back in the 80s, there were no other
19:36gangs of white people. So, yeah. Okay. I just pretty much
19:39chalked that up to white supremacy and anyways. Okay.
19:46You saw what happened? You had a particular fear of white
19:48supremacists? I assumed later on in life, that's what they
19:51were. You didn't have too many mirrors at your house, did you?
19:55I think there was some mild association between Robocop and
20:00American History X at some point in time. Okay. Yeah. Not
20:06sure if I've seen that one but. Okay. Edward Norton. Yeah. He
20:10does some interesting stuff. Yeah, the very first movie that
20:13showcased prison rape. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. That was the first
20:21one? That came out before, was it Shawshank? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
20:29Cuz Morgan Freeman still, you know, he hadn't developed all
20:32his freckles at that point. So, he's still pretty young. Yeah,
20:35he had, he had yet to achieve his deification status. I think
20:42every, every time of someone saves a puppy, Morgan Freeman
20:45grows a freckle or something like that. A puppy, is it? I
20:49don't know. Is it a South Park thing? I think it's a South
20:53Park joke. So, Chappelle, Bill Burr, you know, you're gonna
20:58have comedians in the kingdom, actually. A lot of these
21:00comedians might be surprised to find themselves in the kingdom.
21:03You know, there's one thing I noticed right away. Okay, first
21:08thing, one guy's black, the other guy's white. In case, in
21:13case people didn't notice but just to make it that much more
21:17clear, the white guy, they actually had to take away all
21:21of his pigment in this. Bill Burr isn't normally that white.
21:27They made it even more white than normal to increase the
21:30contrast. It's fascinating. I think that was just the way that
21:35shot looked. You know, they didn't actually have to make him
21:38look any whiter than he is. No, I mean, I think it's from like a
21:40thumbnail that was already out. Yeah, but he's ginger. Like,
21:42it's not hard. I mean, he looks white anyways. It's hard to be
21:45ginger when you have nothing going on up there. Well, yeah,
21:48when he shaves everything off, he's just white. Default white.
21:53Yeah. Well, yeah. So, the point is, you're gonna have
21:59comedians in the kingdom. You're gonna have lots of stage
22:03play of all sorts. You're gonna have comedians and dirty jokes.
22:07Yes, that's a thing that will exist in heaven that already
22:10does. And people will still make fun of other races and
22:13segregation and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, if it's funny,
22:16it's funny. I hope, I hope that doesn't go away. Really. Well,
22:20people are going to be, on one hand, a lot more interested in
22:23how each other feels. We're going to have more empathy to
22:26begin with. But at the same time, we're gonna have thicker
22:29skin. Oh, yeah. People who don't know how to laugh at
22:32themselves probably don't have a great chance of making it to
22:35the kingdom. We'll, we'll, we'll make fun of like the era of
22:38pronouns that we're living in now. Like, in the future, we'll
22:41look back on this time and be like, do you remember the they,
22:43thems? You know? You know, all of that is. Diseasers. All of
22:47that is social engineering. It is meant to come about at a
22:50time such as now to really create a contrast between who's
22:57going and who's not. So, it's kind, it, it's, we're talking
23:01about contrast here. I don't think it's by coincidence. I'm
23:06just gonna turn this image off so we can stop talking about
23:08race. I feel better now. I was really tempted to do it again
23:13but I'll never feel good about dancing now. It's not really my
23:23thing but I respect people who can do it. It's especially when
23:27you're doing it at that level. It is extreme athleticism
23:31required to really dance. I respect it. Yeah. And and you
23:36really, you don't have to be a homosexual to have rhythm. It's
23:40true. You don't, you don't have to. I think you're right, you
23:43know? But it's very common and I don't know why. Why is that? I
23:48think it's a, it's a confidence thing, I think. It might be.
23:51Yeah. Cuz they're just so comfortable in their own
23:53bodies. You know? Um, love of performance, you know? Mm. And
23:59freedom of expression. I think that's a, a lot of, a lot of
24:02gay guys and well, yeah, mostly gay guys. I think gay
24:07women tend to be less expressive than the experience
24:10that I've seen. Plenty of exceptions, I'm sure but just
24:13as a generality. Yeah. Oh, you know what it could be? Way more,
24:16they're just expressive. That's the word though. Dancing is very
24:20much. That is the operative word is gay. Now, people might
24:24not realize it but gay had the original meaning meant happy.
24:28Yeah. But it still has that meaning. So, by default,
24:32homosexual people are are prone towards happiness. Cuz they
24:38simply, like, once they come out of the closet, they basically
24:41tell the whole world, I'm happy. Right? Yeah. Let's go.
24:49That's how. Good for them. This is by design. Why are you gay?
24:59And art will still be a thing, of course. Things of beauty.
25:02Theater. There will still be performative everything. I mean,
25:07what we see in Hollywood now, there's, there's a dichotomy, I
25:12think, behind the scenes of factions between those who are
25:16for the kingdom and those who are not. But at the same time,
25:20there is an artistry and a craftsmanship that goes into
25:24that and yeah, symbolism and all of the subtle things but there
25:30is a place for it in the kingdom. For those who are
25:33doing it for the right reasons and have something to offer,
25:37especially a story worth telling. I'll tell you what,
25:41brother, I know we are, we had this conversation earlier but
25:43going in a place like this, every time I've been to a nice
25:48theater, I always felt underdressed for the occasion.
25:51Been there, yeah. And I think it's because I didn't have a
25:54cane or a monocle. Or a cane with a sword. Or a pompadour
25:58hat. Yeah, I went to, it was actually, my Aunt Ruby took me
26:04when I was in college to see, it was an extra credit thing to
26:07see Fiddler on the Roof. It was during Topol's farewell tour so
26:11it was his last tour, last time anyone was going to be
26:16able to see him play in that role on Fiddler on the Roof.
26:18He was the main old guy, I forget the name but that was a
26:22very cool experience but at the same time, yeah, you know, I
26:26felt way out of place going to something that, I don't know,
26:31refined. But a culture shock, huh? Not that much. I just, you
26:36know, I dress as I do now. It's nothing very
26:40assuming. It's functional clothing. It covers the meat
26:44suit sufficiently for the climate. Florida, man. Yeah. In
26:48a refined place. Well, I mean, it was a theater in Florida at
26:53Jacksonville of all places so the bar wasn't that high. Well,
26:59so you were still in your element. There were still
27:01Floridians around you and. Yeah. But it was a cool place to
27:05be. It was very. Nice. I can really appreciate that that is
27:10going to be something of value. Just being able to set
27:13all that up. Everything that goes into stage prep. I went to
27:16an art school for a little while for writing so I
27:18appreciate the storytelling of it but as someone who grows up
27:21who grew up in construction as well, understanding what goes
27:25behind the making of the sets. Just creating that visual
27:29landscape in such a way that you can swap it out and just
27:34move things right around and have all this interchangeability
27:37and create a whole vibe, a whole a whole new place right
27:41there in front of everybody on a dime. That is an awesome
27:44thing to me. It's usually in the historical periods around
27:48the world. It's usually post-war eras when when peace
27:55and and true tranquility in a prosperous society comes about
28:00that the best art comes. Well, just after yeah or sometimes
28:05some of it comes during war, you know. Yeah. There's a lot
28:08of that out there too. Usually, it's a bit more either grim or
28:12hopeful but yeah, after after peace comes is when you see the
28:17most art really. Yeah. Cuz it's like the generation that
28:22follows like that that still remembers those things. Well,
28:26that's something that tends to happen more when people are
28:29struggling less. So. But they have that appreciation of the
28:34struggle for what they do have. They still have the
28:38memory of something worse but they're able to stop and
28:42appreciate something good that they have now. Yeah. And the
28:44kingdom's going to be like that. People are being shown
28:47what they're being shown now in the world so that they
28:51remember what they've been given by our father. And what
28:56we a lot of the art that we have nowadays is sort of like
29:01Yeah, it's it's beautiful but it's like it's surface stuff
29:04and it's mostly distracting. You know, like video games for
29:08example. Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's it's fun to look at and
29:11I'm sure somebody put a lot of work into it but it's almost
29:14like some of these arts like the the creativeness of it. The
29:19the the craft of the trade. It it's almost like it's being put
29:23to waste just by putting them all toward on video games, you
29:26know. Well, it's not all on video games. That's just where
29:29a lot of it does end up. The industry itself is it it's
29:33geared towards media distractions rather than. Well,
29:37it is a. You know, true art forms. It is another example of
29:40bread and circus. You know, sports, gladiatorial stuff.
29:45Yeah, it's bread and circus. If you understand the reference of
29:48ancient Rome, give them bread and circus. They'll never
29:50revolt. That's that is what that that's the role it serves
29:56now. All the distractions, all the fun, all the amusement,
29:59they serve as distractions to keep people from rising up
30:04really but. Yeah. Not only that, they serve as a test
30:09because people are going to either choose that or choose to
30:11focus on bettering the world around them. Yeah. And then
30:15there's so much hopelessness now that people don't really
30:17try to better the world around them. Yeah. They've given up. I
30:20guess today's version of that in contrast would be like
30:23instead of bread and circus, it would be like Twinkies and
30:27Angry Birds.
30:32Yeah, you're going to have a lot a lot of that today and at
30:36the same time, that doesn't rule out the fact that there
30:39will be these things in the future in the kingdom. There
30:42will be video games. There will be some of the best video
30:46games anyone's ever seen. However, that's not going to be
30:51as all-consuming as it is now because now, I think people
30:56often, it swallows their entire lives. It's out of balance.
31:02Yeah.
31:04That overindulgences in general, you could say that
31:09about a lot of things. Yeah. It's easy to overindulge when
31:13there's less responsibilities when the necessity to go out
31:19into the world and make a living is not what it used to
31:22be. People can live. People can survive. People can even
31:27prosper doing these very distracting things. There's
31:31people that make a living playing video games. Sure. And
31:34there's a lot more people who think they're going to make a
31:37living playing video games and really all they do is play
31:39video games all day and they're not making a living. And they
31:42live off of somebody else. Often. Yeah. Or they work their
31:46asses off and that's what they come back to escape with.
31:50That's often the case. It goes back to bread and circus. This
31:53is their escape from. Yeah. The turmoil of the kingdom at the
31:56present. You know, I saw a really nice reel like it was a
32:00YouTube reel or short. Is it a short? On YouTube, I forget
32:05what it is. Real short. It was a short video and this this
32:09woman posted this video of her husband playing video games
32:15when he got home from work and she was saying something like
32:20something complaint about it like this is what I get to deal
32:24with. I've been working in this house all day and he comes home
32:29and all he wants to do is play this game and then this other
32:33woman comes on and says, girl, if all I had to worry about was
32:37my man coming home playing video games and he's putting
32:41food on the table, paying the bills, and all he wants to do
32:46is relax. That man deserves it. Yeah. Give this man his peace
32:51and and stop tweeting with your complaints. I guess that's for
32:56another episode but. Yeah. You know, it's like you said, some
32:59people just use it as a means of relaxation. You know, you
33:04could watch the football game as long as you're not spending
33:09all of your valuable time on these things. There's a place
33:12for having a good time and decompressing. You know,
33:16there's nothing wrong with that. Yes. Balance but a big
33:19part of why I think people go out of balance with that is
33:24well, it's not just an escape from the work of their day but
33:28from the world itself. The people of the world who many
33:34people I've encountered these days, there's a certain a
33:39desire to not have a social life because what's out there
33:43to socialize with is not very appealing. The world is full of
33:49crappy people. It doesn't mean there aren't bright lights all
33:52throughout it. That's what the kingdom is going to be. All
33:57those bright lights brought to one place.
34:01So, people are going to be a lot more inclined to go outside,
34:05talk to somebody, see what's out there. It's not gonna look
34:08like... I wish I had thought to grab the picture. There's
34:15something, a meme of, you know, older generations talking
34:19about... I'll just summarize. Picture any street down... any
34:25common industrial street down any city in America or much of
34:29the world. It's just dull, dead, gray shop fronts and
34:35commerce and commerce and commerce and consumerism and
34:38power lines and billboards all the way down as far as I can
34:41see and it's disgusting. Who would want to go outside in a
34:46place like that? I don't know. I guess it depends on what's on
34:49the billboard. I just saw you flip through all the sport
34:52images. Yeah. I kind of poke fun at the sports when I selected
34:56the imagery for this. It's... you get some of the most
35:00wonderful one-shot, you know, camera frames that you can get
35:05from the world of sports. Each of these has its story, you
35:08know. Oh, yeah. This guy's story is he's having flashbacks of
35:12Nam as the ball comes careening towards his face.
35:19It is just a flash. Yeah, that's... those are the eyes of
35:22a man who's seen war. And this is the this is the face of
35:27someone who has never seen war and is just really excited to
35:31do some LARPing with the paintball gun and this guy is
35:35the face of genius. Yeah, he he's been planning this for
35:38years preparing so that he could be the Terminator. Yes.
35:43And the Predator at the same time. Look, he's even got the
35:45Predator dreadlocks. So, yeah, you'll have sports like
35:50paintball or something to that effect, you know, probably be
35:53lasers. Some sports are, you know, there's a reason the
35:57Greeks did it naked, you know. I think here we have a good
36:01reason not to do it naked. For some, people pay extra for
36:05that. Some people light their farts on fire. I don't think
36:10that's what happened here, but it could have been what
36:13happened. I mean, it could be how this guy propelled
36:15himself so far off the ground. I don't know. Do we know? He's
36:19lifting off. He might be a phoenix.
36:25Oh, he's rising. Yes, phoenix rising. It doesn't even look
36:31like he's jumping. He's just levitating upward. He's got so
36:36much time in the air that he hasn't even extended his arm
36:39yet to dunk. He's thinking about it. You know, he he might
36:42dunk it. He might just drop it from orbit once he gets up
36:46there. Oh, this. That looks like fun. This this actually
36:52reminds me a lot of snowboarding just because the
36:55way like the way he's turning. Anyways, good memories. The
37:03level of control that's gotta take. That's awesome. Very
37:07cool. Yeah. I don't know what they're doing here. They're
37:13him up. But do they know what they're doing? They do. Really?
37:19That was just a perfect camera shot. This must be college.
37:22That's gotta be alumni right there. Probably, yeah. Yeah.
37:25That does look like something you would see in a college
37:27sport. Yeah, like these are the parents. They're they're
37:30clearly not involved. These are some of the students that
37:35thought they might get involved but these people are
37:37dedicated. You know, I have to confess to a bit of envy. I
37:40know it's a sin but that dude over on the right with the hat.
37:46That's that's an impressive hat. Yeah, him. It's like the
37:51kind of hat you'd eat chips out of. Exactly. Put a little
37:55sauce bowl right in the middle. Speaking of Mexican
37:58pastimes, this is how you. This combines a few of them. This is
38:01how you train cockfighting. Just give them a soccer ball.
38:05Yeah. Animals are gonna have a lot more fun in the kingdom I
38:09think. Yeah, we will not. They're not going to be food.
38:10Yeah, and we're not going to attach razor blades to their
38:12feet either. No. No.
38:17Sorry, that was dark. Yeah, it was. Yeah. But it's true.
38:20We're not going to do those kinds of things. That's yeah,
38:23the kingdom is not going to tolerate that kind of abuse of
38:27animals. Mm hmm. Oh, just that kind of abuse of people. The
38:31amount of effort we're going to be putting to just making meat
38:35actual meat that doesn't require. Yeah. Slaughter. But
38:38there might be Thunderdome's for people in the outer
38:42darkness. Yeah, see consensual. That's the big difference.
38:45These are people who consent who know understand what
38:48they're getting into and choose that and there's a level of
38:50understanding there. Like gladiatorial sports. A rooster
38:55granted roosters will you put two of them two males together.
38:58They'll probably fight. That's. But they need a soccer ball.
39:01That's that's what the the cure for this situation clearly is a
39:04soccer ball. Soccer for world peace. I'm with it. Alright.
39:09Yeah. No, but that's that that kind of says something though
39:12like what you just said it it makes sense when you think
39:15about sports now, it's like what could bring peace between
39:18the World Cup. Yeah. It's like everyone get together drink
39:22from the same cup and play soccer. It's only when the
39:25soccer game's over that they start writing. Maybe they
39:28should make their games longer. Yeah, the whole writing thing.
39:32You know that's one thing you're not going to see as much
39:34of the the level of fanaticism. It is like a cult. It really is
39:42a cult of sports. Yeah, it's it's it's pretty scary in
39:45England. I'll say that how how much they get into their teams
39:49all over the world. You'll see examples of it riots and things
39:52like that someone's home team won or lost. It doesn't seem to
39:57matter too much too much, which it is like they're like gangs
40:01roaming the streets when their team loses they get pissed and
40:04they start and I'm not just talking about angry. I'm
40:07talking about they get pissed like they're really drunk
40:10abusive alcohol involved and god knows what else probably
40:13quite a bit of cocaine, but that's what you wind up with
40:17really. I mean what what would you expect that? I don't know.
40:21I mean I've been to football games and baseball games. I
40:23never encountered that. I'm talking about the after
40:25parties. Oh.
40:28Well, they you'd think they would be happier than I
40:32wouldn't know. I haven't tried it so I can't really say. Oh
40:35yeah. I don't think it's an angry drug. I'll say that if
40:37you mix anything with alcohol. Results may vary. Yeah. Alright
40:43fair enough and I mean copious amounts of alcohol.
40:50To each their own, we all I guess everyone has their drug
40:53of choice. Mine is retro retro video games. That's my drug of
40:57choice. That's a good choice. When I saw this picture when
41:00you sent this to me, I was like yeah, this is probably what my
41:03man kid would look like if I could have one. It's got Donkey
41:06Kong. It's got Super Metroid in there and maybe some fine art,
41:10but yeah, Super Mario is fine art. Granted. Yeah, it can be.
41:19There is a lot of artistry that goes into games. We've already
41:23talked about that, but yeah, we've got some love for it.
41:27There's a there's a particular verse and I think we should
41:29probably talk about that before we close out this session. I
41:33think that would be a good place to wrap it up because this is a
41:37concept that what we've been discussing today is about
41:41happiness and fun amusement in the kingdom. Not all work, not
41:46all play, but we always focus on the work. I think that the
41:51productive functional society aspect of it has been my focus
41:54in most of these episodes talking about the New Kingdom,
41:56but we haven't really talked much about play. How we will
42:01frolic as calves. So I'd like to read a bit of a Malachi
42:08chapter four. Honestly, I could read the whole chapter. It's
42:11very brief, but really I want to focus on one particular verse
42:17or two verses. I don't know. It's just one. Okay. But for
42:24you who fear my name, the son of righteousness shall rise
42:27with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves
42:31from the stall. And to give you a visual example of what that
42:37looks like, the emotions that come with that, here's some
42:41calves leaping from the stall. It's likening to what it'll be
42:47like when we enter into the kingdom. Very much. It is going
42:52to be like this, especially at the beginning when you first
42:55get there. You know that transition from the old to the
42:59new. It's going to be as bright as that sun shining on those
43:03cattle.
43:07Look at the joy, man. It's pure happiness. And they're going to
43:11a place where they belong, you know, and they know it. They
43:14just know it deep down into the core of who and what they are.
43:18They're where they belong now, and that's basically what it's
43:21going to be like for the human race is the new kingdom will
43:25feel like a place made for us, like what we were made for,
43:30too. There's another interpretation of that verse
43:33that this brings to mind that I want to express to everyone.
43:39See, these cattle, they spend an entire season cooped up
43:43mostly. You see the landscape right behind them. That's
43:48pretty much what their winters look like. There's not a lot of
43:55you know, there's not a lot of grass in winter time for most
43:57cattle, depending where they are geographically. And if
44:00they were allowed out on that field year round, then there
44:03wouldn't be any grass there. No, it would just be mud and
44:09cow paddies. Farmers will alternate moving to other
44:13fields or let the land heal basically one way or another,
44:16but that's what happens when they get out because they've
44:19been, they understand the feeling of being cooped up for
44:22a while. Out of necessity, sure. But that's where we're at
44:26right now. We're talking about all of this, about the
44:30kingdom week after week, about how it's going to be, but
44:33trying to conceptualize that when we're in the stall
44:36presently. Yeah. We're waiting for those gates to open and we
44:41are going to bolt. We've been stuck in so long, we almost
44:44forgot what it was like to truly have joy like these cows
44:48do right here. And when the time is right, we will. The
44:52Lord is preparing it.
44:55What is this guy cracking open?
45:02He's happy for his cows, just like the Lord will be happy for
45:06us. Yeah, I've grown up around ranchers and farmers and stuff
45:12and they, most of them do, have some love for their cattle.
45:18Because they're joyful animals once you actually get to know
45:21them. They're like big puppies, you know, a little bit goofier,
45:24but
45:29I'm goofy's relative when talking about dogs, I suppose.
45:47Good times. Looking forward to it, brother. That son of
45:53righteousness will rise. Amen. Healing in his wings.
46:00Well, thanks for having me, brother. Yeah, thanks for
46:03coming on. It was a good show. I had fun. Yeah, me too. Yeah.
46:07Gonna have a lot more. God willing. Inshallah. Inshallah.
46:14If God is willing. And that said, we'll see you next time.
46:23Peaceful Sabbath. Shabbat Shalom. And we'll try to join
46:28you again on Sunday at 3 PM Pacific Standard Time. Going
46:32over some more of the Mark of the Beast, if I'm not
46:34mistaken. We need to finish that. Yeah. A bit more
46:37perspective to add to it. Yeah. Sounds like you're gonna be
46:42with us on Sunday. Quite likely. Awesome. Alright, y'all.
46:45Love y'all, bye. Love God, love each other. Mode Rail's name.
