Get a look inside the 2024 Bentley Continental GT Convertible ahead of a major redesign. The 2025 model will swap the V8 engine for a plug-in hybrid.  Styling tweaks for the 2024 Continental GT include new 22-inch wheel options for the Azure trim, dark gray exterior detailing on the Speed model, and a new optional dark-tinted finish for the aluminum grille trim. Inside, the Azure models come with lofted quilting on the seats and door panels. All models also come with plusher floor mats made from wool. Those wool floor mats now lie on top of carpeting made from recycled nylon. A new A trim slots in just below the Azure in the lineup this year and wears some of that model's styling elements, including the waterfall grille. At the top end of the range is a new Speed Edition 12 variant of both the coupe and convertible that will be built in limited quantities to celebrate the end of the line for Bentley's W-12 engine, which is set to be phased out after 2024. 00:00This is the 2024 Bentley Continental GT Convertible.

00:07Bentley is a classic super luxury car.

00:10The heritage of bespoke car making goes back a hundred years or more.

00:14On the Continental GT here, we see a lot of classic details.

00:18That round Bentley shape that we find not only on the headlights, but also inside the car.

00:23And those classic Bentley taillights.

00:26But if you really want that classic look and feel, get it while you can.

00:31Because in 2025, the Bentley Continental is getting a makeover.

00:35The model that we're looking at is powered by a twin-turbo V8 gas-powered engine.

00:41Much love for its power and for its throaty sound.

00:45But those who really love it better get it now.

00:48With the 2025 model, that V8 is going to be replaced by a plug-in hybrid.

00:53The V8 engine in the Bentley Continental GT, as well as V12 in other Bentley models,

00:59are really a hallmark of luxury.

01:01Because even though they are not performance cars, they're not built for the track,

01:05the ability to tap the accelerator and go quickly is luxury.

01:10When you buy a Bentley, you don't just go to the dealer and pick out a color.

01:14You actually work with their design team to assemble the entire interior.

01:19And they'll also help you to pick colors, textures, metals that go with your personality,

01:25that complement your lifestyle.

01:27In the model that we're looking at, this is a very beach-inspired model.

01:32With the azure blue on the outside, the denim leather on the inside,

01:37the cream color that's sort of a sand hue.

01:40And then there is wood that might remind you of sea oats or might remind you of seashells.

01:46And then there's black gloss, complemented by all the chrome.

01:50It feels like a watch band or a piece of jewelry that's been handcrafted.

01:55We see it on a lot of the controls on the center console.

01:59The rims of all the dials are covered in textured metal.

02:02We even see textured metal on the steering wheel and on the stocks for the windshield wipers and the turn signal.

02:08On the center console, there is the Bentley badge in the middle of the gear selector.

02:13The stop start button is right here in the center of the console.

02:16And you can turn the dial on the stop start button to set your drive mode from sport, B, comfort, or custom.

02:24And this allows you to customize your drive setting.

02:27And then the controls for the convertible top are right here.

02:31Probably the most popular feature in every Bentley is this.

02:36You ready?

02:38This instantly gives the Bentley a very old school heritage feel.

02:44You have a magnetic compass here.

02:47We have gauges on either side.

02:50So we can maybe pay attention to things that are going on with the engine or just feel like we are.

02:56And then when we want to see the screen, we can tap that button again and we get our multimedia screen.

03:04We have more functions here.

03:05You can customize the car here.

03:08That's the setting for the head-up display.

03:10This particular version has night vision and Bentley Safeguard.

03:15It's going to prevent you from crashing into the car in front of you.

03:18And then you can use this to turn on your massage seat.

03:23Both front passengers have a massage seat.

03:26On the steering wheel, we have drive assist features over here.

03:30And you can actually customize your driver display by toggling through using this dial.

03:37And then you just press it for OK when you find something that you like.

03:41On this side, we have voice assist and this allows us to select our media over here.

03:47As well as turn on the heated steering wheel.

03:50The Bentley Continental GT convertible starts at $320,000.

03:54Our test model has $45,000 worth of options.

03:57Including stitching, piping, and other interior details for a total price of about $370,000.

04:04A lot of luxury and exotic cars are really only intended for driving on special occasions.

04:09That is not the case in the Bentley Continental GT.

04:12This is designed to live your luxury every day.

04:16There's two seats in the back if you need to bring passengers.

04:19There's a sizable trunk.

04:20It's probably not going to fit luggage for four.

04:22But it will fit a couple of tote bags for a weekend away.

04:25But there's ample space for the driver and passenger to put down the top and let the wind flow through their hair.
