00:58They said that our flight was cancelled.

01:34Some overseas Filipino workers or OFWs were affected by the cancelled flights to Naiya.
01:41The Department of Migrant Workers or DMW immediately evacuated them
01:46under the leadership of Secretary Hans Leo Kakdak.
01:49According to a statement by the DMW and OWA,
01:52they first sent the affected OFWs to the OFW lounge
01:57and provided food and help in rebooking their flights.
02:03The cancelled flights to Naiya were caused by a global outage of the cybersecurity system
02:09due to a faulty update.
02:12According to the leadership of Manila International Airport Authority or MIAA,
02:188 airlines were affected in Terminal 3 and 1 airline in Terminal 2.
02:2545 flights were cancelled.
02:30The airline companies that cancelled flights were Cebu Pacific, Cebgo, AirAsia, and United Airlines.
02:40According to the MIAA, there are hotlines where passengers can call
02:45in case there are cancelled flights again.
02:48But the MIAA insisted that airline companies should call
02:53where they are booking their flights to avoid the outage.
