00:00A Johor DAP leader has proposed the formation of Royal Academies for five medical specialities
00:09to assess locally trained specialists.
00:11Dr. Boo Cheng Hao said the Malaysian Medical Council and Health Ministry should consider

00:47Boo's suggestions follow recent amendments to the Medical Act 1971 which will clarify
00:53and reinforce the powers of the MMC and Health Ministry regarding medical accreditation
00:58and licensing.
