00:11Macang MP Wan Ahmad Faizal Wan Ahmad Kamal has been suspended from the Dewan Rakyat for six months.

00:17The Bersatu Youth Chief was suspended for referencing a poison pen letter naming the alleged mastermind

00:23of the Malaysia Airport's Holdings Berhad privatisation deal.

00:27The motion to suspend Wan Faizal was tabled by Law and Institutional Reform Minister Azalina Osman Syed.

00:34Wan Faizal reportedly made reference to the letter when debating the Suhakam report in the Dewan Rakyat earlier this month.

00:41He had named an EPF employee as being allegedly involved in the MAHB deal

00:46and cited the negative treatment of the employee's subordinates.

00:50Global Infrastructure Partners and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority are poised to take up a 30% stake in MAHB

00:56through a consortium led by sovereign wealth fund Kazanah Nasional Berhad, which will own 40%, and EPF, which will hold 30%.

01:05But investment firm BlackRock's planned acquisition of GIP later this year has led to objections over the deal

01:12as the former has been accused of profiteering from genocide.
