00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
00:19Peace be with you.
00:21We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:28Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.
00:34May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:42Let us pray.
00:46O God, who shone the light of your truth to those who go astray, so they may return to the right path.
00:54You of all who for the faith they profess are accounted Christians.
00:59Be graced to reject whatever is contrary to the name of Christ, and to strive after all that does it honor.
01:06Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit.
01:12God forever and ever. Amen.
01:17A reading from the prophet Isaiah.
01:20The Lord of hosts says this.
01:51His heart did not plan it so.
01:53No, in his heart, his heart was to destroy, to cut on, to go on cutting nations to pieces without limit.
02:04For he said, by the strength of my own arm I have done this, and by my own intelligence, for understanding is mine.
02:14I have pushed back the frontiers of peoples, and plundered their treasures.
02:19I have brought their inhabitants down to the dust.
02:23But if they were a bird's nest, my hand has seized the riches of the people.
02:29As people pick up deserted eggs, I have picked up the whole earth, with not a wing fluttering, not a beak opening, not a chirp.
02:42Does the axe claim more credit than the man who wields it?
02:46Or the saw more strength than the man who handles it?
02:50It would be like the kudu controlling the man who raises it, or the club moving what is not made of wood.
03:02And so the Lord of hosts is going to send a wasting sickness in his stout warriors.
03:10Beneath his planting a burning will burn, like a consuming fire.
03:16The word of the Lord thanks be to God.
03:20The Lord will not abandon his people.
03:23The Lord will not abandon his people.
03:26They crush your people, Lord.
03:29They afflict the ones you have chosen.
03:32They kill the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless child.
03:37The Lord will not abandon his people.
03:40And they say, the Lord does not see.
03:44The God of Jacob pays no heed.
03:46Mark this, most senseless of people.
03:49Fools, when will you understand?
03:52The Lord will not abandon his people.
03:55Can he who made the ear not hear?
03:58Can he who formed the eye not see?
04:01Will he who trains nations not punish?
04:04Will he who teaches people not have knowledge?
04:08The Lord will not abandon his people.
04:11The Lord will not abandon his people.
04:14Nor forsake those who are his own.
04:17For judgment shall again be just, and all true hearts shall uphold it.
04:23The Lord will not abandon his people.
04:26Alleluia, Alleluia.
04:28Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.
04:31You have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom.
04:35Alleluia.
04:40The Lord be with you.
04:42A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:46Glory to you, O Lord.
04:48Jesus explained,
04:50I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
04:53for hiding these things from the learned,
04:56and declaring and revealing them to mere children.
05:00Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do.
05:04Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father.
05:09No one knows the Son except the Father,
05:12just as no one knows the Father except the Son,
05:16and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
05:23The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
05:26Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:33When we see Jesus, we see God.
05:37The best way we have of knowing God is in Jesus,
05:41in our relationship with Jesus.
05:44He leads us to the Father.
05:46In Him we see the Father and the Holy Spirit.
05:49The Trinity is in Him.
05:51Jesus is our link.
05:54It's not about being extra clever.
05:57It's about being open-hearted, trusting.
06:01Your will be done.
06:03Your will be done to do the way of life
06:08that Jesus has given us through the Gospel.
06:11It is true wisdom.
06:13True life.
06:20Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:23for through your goodness we have this bread to offer,
06:25which the Church has given you and hence have made.
06:28It will become for us the bread of life.
06:30Blessed be God forever.
06:42Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:45for through your goodness we have this wine to offer,
06:48fruit of the vine, work of human hands.
06:50It will become a spiritual drink.
06:52Blessed be God forever.
07:12Let us pray, brothers and sisters,
07:14that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable
07:17to God our Almighty Father.
07:19May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands
07:22to the praise and glory of God's name
07:25for our good and the good of God's Holy Church.
07:28Look upon the offerings of the Church, O Lord,
07:31as she makes her prayer to you
07:33and grant that one consumed by those who believe
07:37and grant that one consumed by those who believe
07:40they may bring ever greater holiness.
07:43Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
07:50The Lord be with you.
07:52Lift up your hearts.
07:55Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:58It is truly right and just,
08:01our duty and our salvation,
08:03always and everywhere,
08:05to give you thanks, Father Most Holy,
08:07through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
08:10your Word to whom you made all things,
08:12whom you sent as our Savior and Redeemer,
08:15incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin,
08:19fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people.
08:22He stretched out his hands as he endured his passion
08:26so as to break the bonds of death
08:28and manifest the resurrection.
08:30And so, with the angels and all the saints,
08:33we declare your glory,
08:35as with one voice we acclaim,
08:37Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts,
08:42heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:45Hosanna in the highest.
08:47Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:50Hosanna in the highest.
09:04You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
09:09Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
09:12by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
09:16so that they may become for us
09:18the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:22At the time he was betrayed
09:24and entered willingly into his passion,
09:27he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it,
09:30and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:33Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
09:35for this is my Body, which will be given up for you.
09:47In a similar way, when supper was ended,
09:50he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
09:54he gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:57Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
09:59for this is the chalice of my Blood,
10:02the Blood of the new and eternal covenant,
10:08which will be poured out for you and for many
10:12for the forgiveness of sins.
10:15Do this in memory of me.
10:24The mystery of faith.
10:26Save us, Savior of the world,
10:28for by your cross and resurrection
10:31you have set us free.
10:33Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial
10:36of his death and resurrection,
10:38we offer you, Lord, the bread of life
10:40and the chalice of salvation,
10:42giving thanks that you have held us worthy
10:45to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:48Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ,
10:53we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:57Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world,
11:01and bring her to the fullness of charity,
11:04together with Francis our Pope,
11:06me, your unworthy servant,
11:08Eugene, our emeritus bishop,
11:11all the clergy who serve your people,
11:13and your entire family.
11:16Remember, Lord, our brothers and sisters
11:19who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
11:22and all who have died in your mercy.
11:25Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:28Have mercy on us all, we pray,
11:31that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
11:34Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
11:36with the blessed apostles and all the saints
11:39who have pleased you throughout the ages,
11:41we may, through your grace,
11:43merit to be coerced to eternal life,
11:46and may praise and glorify you
11:48through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:54Through him and with him and in him,
11:56O God, Almighty Father,
11:58in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:00all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
12:04Amen.
12:08Let us pray the prayer Jesus taught us.
12:11Our Father, who art in heaven,
12:14hallowed be thy name.
12:16Thy kingdom come.
12:18Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:21Give us this day our daily bread
12:24and forgive us our trespasses
12:26as we forgive those who trespass against us
12:30and lead us not into temptation
12:32but deliver us from evil.
12:34Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
12:37Graciously grant peace in our days
12:39that by the help of your mercy
12:41we may be always free from sin
12:43and safe from all distress
12:45as we await the blessed hope
12:47and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
12:50For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
12:53are yours now and forever.
12:56Lord Jesus Christ, we say to your apostles,
12:59Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
13:02Look not on our sins but on the faith of your Church,
13:05and graciously grant her peace and unity
13:08in accordance with your will,
13:10who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
13:13The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
13:17Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
13:20Peace be with you all.
13:24Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:27Have mercy on us.
13:29Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:33Have mercy on us.
13:35Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:39Grant us peace.
13:44Amen.
13:57Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
14:01Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
14:04Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
14:07but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
14:11My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
14:16I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
14:20Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
14:23come at least spiritually into my heart.
14:26I embrace you as if you were already there
14:29and unite myself wholly to you.
14:32Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
14:36Let us pray.
14:42Having consumed these gifts, we pray, O Lord,
14:46granted by our participation in this mystery,
14:49that saving effects upon us may grow.
14:52Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
14:54The Lord be with you.
14:56And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
15:00and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
15:03Let us go and live the gospel.
15:06Thanks be to God.
15:08God bless your day.
15:11Amen.
