00:00We are here at SpeedFest 2024, the largest car gathering in Malaysia to date.

00:24KL-based Insungai Besi is buzzing with supercars, vintage rides, and passionate automobile fans.

00:29from across the country. Let's dive in and see what else is in store for us today.

00:39Jointly organized by iCarAsia, WAPCAR, and other industry players,

00:43this two-day event over the weekend was nothing short of exhilarating.

00:51The show drew an estimated crowd of 100,000 over the two days,

00:56all eager to marvel at the unique car collections and join in on the action.

01:01One of the highlights was the Drift Showcase, where skilled drivers delivered

01:06heart-pounding action. Visitors up for an extra thrill could even hop in for a wild ride.

01:15KY Gunn, Managing Director of CarList.my, explained that SpeedFest, which was founded last year,

01:22was aimed at bringing together all facets of the automotive world.

01:26Car enthusiasts could spend hours here, marveling at unique race cars and classic models.

01:33For most people who come here, I think they can immense themselves in a lot of different things.

01:37You know, you can look at cars. There are a lot of cars that you don't see on the road.

01:41These are a lot of private collection cars that are actually being here today right now.

01:45We have drifting, we have dive cars, we have e-sport, and then we have drag racing as well.

01:50So we are trying to pack everything in one roof so that, you know, as a car enthusiast,

01:54someone who likes cars or you want to bring your family to enjoy cars with you,

01:57this is one place you come to and you can spend the entire day here and you can enjoy every element

02:01of it. Bringing us around the massive showcase, he highlighted some of the most unique cars on

02:07display. The special car over here, right, as you can see here, this is a McLaren Senna.

02:12McLaren Senna is a limited-build McLaren, so it's a very exclusive model,

02:15and I think it's priced around $4 million before tax.

02:19Yes, and over here you can also see like all these RWB Porsches. So we have a total of eight

02:25RWB Porsches. Most of them were just built by Nakai himself in Malaysia two weeks ago.

02:32Another standout was a car made entirely with LEGO-like pieces. Crafted by Bricks Art Malaysia,

02:39this was a definite head-turner. Speaking with attendees, we asked,

02:44what is it about cars that they adore so much? Oh, everything. Look, sound, the feeling,

02:52you know, the engineering. Yes. And if the vehicles weren't enough to excite guests,

02:58there was also the presence of automotive legends such as Japan's Jin Horino and Shoji Inoue. Lucky

03:06attendees even went home with their autographs. From witnessing motorcycle drag racing to

03:13exploring a die-cast car expo showcasing limited edition Hot Wheels, SpeedFest was a truly
