00:00Awesome, so how was this first camp and what made you want to host a youth
00:03football camp back at your alma mater? Yeah, I mean I've always wanted to do
00:06something like this and be able to give back a little bit to the kids and kind
00:09of show them where I came from and kind of the blueprint I went through a little
00:12bit and that all kind of just started here on this field and so just kind of
00:16be here and show them in person and stuff like that, that's kind of what I wanted to do.
00:20So it's cool to see the kids compete and start at a young age and have fun.
00:23How does it feel being back in the homestead because obviously you've been
00:26now two years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. How much do you feel
00:29you've grown since you since you came out of Washington? Tremendously, I feel
00:33like every year has been a big step for me. Every month, every day, just finding
00:36something. It's always very important for me to learn something so learn
00:41something new every day and so the growth has just been growing and growing
00:44and enjoying it. How cool was it to have Rome get drafted to you and knowing you guys
00:48played early on in your days? It was super cool, you know, I was following him all
00:52throughout college from when he was young all the way to when I was at the Bears
00:55watching him so now to have him on the team and be able to be with him again like I
00:59did at UW, it'll be very fun. What is your kind of goal going into the
01:03season? Obviously you had a pretty successful first two years, is there
01:06anything in your game that you're really just kind of focusing on? A lot of
01:09turnovers, just being disruptive on defense, you know, definitely with all
01:14pros, that's my goal. Show the world, you know, I missed a lot of games last year
01:18and so you know just being healthy this year and putting everything on display
01:22and just to show my full ability and then with the team, you know, I got a lot
01:25of good guys around me and just excited everyone to bounce energy off everybody
01:29and you know we got a lot of special players and special teammates and so I just
01:33decided to see where we go this year. I'd be remiss if I didn't ask about
01:36your college alma mater, just what has it been like, because obviously I know
01:39when you left UW it wasn't the same than what it has been the past couple
01:44years. How cool has it been to see the program, most of the guys that you
01:47came in with end up, you know, chasing the national championship last year and
01:50everything that came from it? It's been cool, you know, I followed every single game they
01:54had, all the new players they got from Michael Pennix, you know, changed a lot
01:57of things around, a lot of other good key players in there that did some great
02:00things, so it's just crazy to see a team go from the bottom to the top and
02:04honestly like it's kind of how I feel like us with the Bears, you know, we kind
02:08of have some rough patches and stuff, you know, just kind of see that process, you
02:11know, anyone can really do it and so to be one of the first guys to go to the
02:15Bears and you know set that foundation and really build it up, I just I know we
02:19can do the same thing, so I'm excited to go get a Super Bowl or something like that.
