00:00It said my mistakes in one practice should turn into progress the next practice.
00:05So I think if I can do that, and camp's a grind, man.
00:08That's what people don't understand.
00:09Camp is a grind.
00:10There are long days, consecutive days, but it's so mental.
00:14Camp is so mental, you just have to tell yourself to be better every single day
00:18than you were the day before, so.
00:20You're getting a pretty kind of up close and
00:22personal look at how this O-line is bringing together, I guess.
00:24What did you see in their growth over the spring, and
00:27how do you feel that group is going into fall camp?
00:29Yeah, spring was good, and
00:30I think summer was even better for the offensive line.
00:33Getting some of the transfers in, some older guys, and
00:36then getting guard and landing back, too.
00:38So we're excited, I think summer was really big for us with the PRPs and
00:44things like that, and able to get those guys out there, real live reps together.
00:48So it was good, but training camp will be even better.
00:51So we're about to be doing the fire and see what these guys can do.
00:55How many trips down to Thibodeau did you make in your time in college?
00:58Four.
00:58Four years.
00:59Yeah, so I've grown pretty close to the Mannings over the last four years.
01:04So it's fun, I enjoy it.
01:05What did you glean from that camp?
01:07And I guess being down there for the fourth time this past summer,
01:10I guess what more could you glean?
01:12Yeah, it's kind of the same thing every year, but
01:14just to have the privilege to be invited back to that camp four years in a row,
01:19it's pretty special to me.
01:21And obviously the Mannings have Mississippi roots and things like that, so
01:25we're pretty close.
01:26And it's always a privilege to be there.
01:30So I was excited to be there for my fourth and final year.
01:33How much burn did you get with the receivers over the summer, and
01:35how much of that was on the receivers, and how much of that was on you and DeMond?
01:40Yeah, a lot, a lot.
01:41So I usually, I mean, ever since I've been here, I guess I got here and
01:47the players, they went on their break after the season.
01:51So they got two weeks off, but as soon as they got back, I was texting,
01:55I was texting Giles, I guess Jeremiah got here a little later.
01:59But even the whole group, we were out there, I was like, hey,
02:03I'm going Monday, Wednesday, Friday, every single week.
02:05And I can remember something would come up and we would still get our third day in.
02:11I can remember being in the indoor with Denzel and
02:14Giles at 5 AM one morning and the lights weren't even on.
02:18And we were out there throwing without the lights.
02:21So it's kind of hard to do without any lighting, throwing the ball, but
02:26we made it work that morning.
02:27So it's just been good to get the chemistry down with those guys, and
02:31I think you'll see that to come up in the fall.
02:33You throw a light up in their fall just so you guys can see it?
02:35No, no, we didn't have that privilege.
02:37Yeah, there was like one little light coming down in the indoor that stays on,
02:40I guess, and we kind of just made it work.
02:42Earlier today, Coach Fitch said he was
