00:00I don't know anything about saving worlds, but you do."
00:04Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at every live-action Marvel timeline that will
00:09play a part in Deadpool and Wolverine. Furthermore, we'll also pick the character we most want to see
00:14from each universe. We'll only include timelines that were either confirmed or heavily implied
00:20by the trailers. And if you aren't caught up on everything Marvel, beware of spoilers ahead.
00:26Your little cinematic universe is about to change forever."
00:31The Revised X-Men Timeline
00:34While the trailers made it clear that we're dealing with the Deadpool that appeared in
00:37the first solo films, casual moviegoers may not realize that he's part of a much bigger universe.
00:42In the past, the merc with a mouth has joked about being confused about which X-Men timeline he's in.
00:47Let us go talk to the professor.
00:50McAvoy or Stewart, these timelines are so confusing.
00:54But the second movie solved that question with two major jokes. During Deadpool's time at the
00:59X-Mansion, Nicholas Holt's beast ensures that he and his teammates don't meet the merc.
01:04Okay, they can't just dust off one of the famous X-Men. How about that
01:06putz with the giant pigeon wings? What do those do anyway, huh? Carry him three feet off the ground
01:10to snatch up the nearest muffin crumb? Since Nightcrawler didn't meet Storm until they were
01:15adults in the original timeline, his presence here confirms they live in the universe created
01:20after history was changed in days of future past. The post-credits scene of Deadpool 2 further
01:25confirms this fact by having Wade travel over to the original X-Men movie continuity to slaughter
01:30the silent version of himself. This merc clearly lives in a world full of mutants.
01:36Hey, it's me. Don't scratch. Just cleaning up the timelines.
01:41Since we already know that the merc and his found family will appear in the film,
01:45we won't be singling any of them out. But it would be great if one of the X-Men
01:49made a cameo. Although there are so many to choose from, our top pick would be Evan Peters'
01:55Quicksilver. There's a ton of potential for jokes with this speedster around. Deadpool could make
02:10fun of the time when Peters appeared on WandaVision. Additionally, the merc could ridicule
02:15the fact that Quicksilver is constantly injured or removed from the story before the end of the
02:19final battle. Bringing in the comedic Peters to trade a bunch of quick jabs with Deadpool seems
02:24like a winning formula. Must have done something pretty serious. What'd you do, man? What'd you do?
02:31What'd you do? Why'd they have you in there? For killing the president.
02:37The TVA Timeline
02:39The TVA has stepped in to fix your mistake and set time back on its predetermined path.
02:45Once upon a time, an agency was created to maintain and protect the existence of a singular
02:51universe. If anyone tried to mess around with history or attempted to create a new timeline,
02:56the TVA would step in and remove them from the equation. The TVA actively prevented the
03:01multiverse from existing until Loki arrived. After the god fought a variant of himself
03:06that had nearly been erased and met the man behind the agency, the Asgardian pushed for change.
03:12I know what I want. I know what kind of god I need to be.
03:19Loki ultimately sacrificed his freedom and isolated himself from everyone to maintain
03:24the multiverse. In the wake of this heroic act, the TVA decided they would let alternate worlds
03:30grow and thrive. I've gotta go see what exactly it is we've been protecting for all this time.
03:37A member from the agency named Paradox will give Deadpool a mission to accomplish in the 2024 movie.
03:42Wait. You are special. This is your chance to be a hero among heroes.
03:52If the merc gets any downtime, we'd love to see him pay the god of mischief a visit.
03:57Deadpool could easily pop in to say hi to Loki in a brief scene. The merc could make fun of the
04:02god for becoming a full-on hero or point out how they're both breakout Marvel characters.
04:07While the cameo doesn't have to be long, we're sure that Loki would appreciate the fact that
04:12even someone as obnoxious as Deadpool paid him a visit. It's weird that Loki's not here, isn't it?
04:19Yeah. The MCU. This universe needs absolutely no explanation, but since this timeline technically
04:26exists outside of the TVA, it does deserve its own spot. Trailer images and Deadpool's fourth
04:32wall breaks confirm that he'll be even more aware of the MCU than he usually is.
04:37I'm the messiah. I am Marvel Jesus.
04:44The only question that remains is who might emerge from that reality to make a cameo.
04:49As great as it would be to see an entire Avengers team show up,
04:52it might be hard to get a ton of MCU actors in the same room.
04:56So if we had to choose one, we'd go with Captain America himself.
05:00No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said language.
05:04I know.
05:12Just slipped out.
05:13Not only did Deadpool personally salute the hero, but the two actors have appeared in each
05:18other's movies. Chris Evans showed up in Free Guy before Ryan Reynolds returned the favor in Ghosted.
05:23I'm an ally.
05:25Jonas?
05:26I have missed you so much.
05:27We'd love to see these two combine their comedic powers for a Marvel film.
05:31If Deadpool could poke fun at the fact that Chris Evans previously played Johnny Storm,
05:35that would be the cherry on top of the team up.
05:38They call me the Human Torch.
05:40Ladies call me Torch.
05:41The Wolverine Variance Universe.
05:44This Wolverine let down his entire world.
05:47In a surprising and pleasant twist, it was revealed that Hugh Jackman would play a brand
05:52new version of his iconic character.
05:54While we don't know this Wolverine's full history quite yet,
05:57we know that he's widely hated in his home universe.
06:00I told you, you're not welcome here. You're not welcome anywhere.
06:03Deadpool joked that we could get the details with a flashback.
06:06But what if this cliche suggestion wasn't just a gag?
06:10In the famous Old Man Logan storyline, Mysterio uses illusions to trick Wolverine
06:15into slaying all the X-Men.
06:17The mutant only realizes what he's done when he sees a deceased Jubilee in his arms.
06:22If the movie follows this backstory,
06:24then bringing in the firework-powered mutant would be a strong move.
06:28It's the most complex, the most sophisticated.
06:30Wasn't afraid to have a dark ending.
06:32Although seeing a live-action Jubilee die at Wolverine's hands in a flashback would be dark,
06:37the scene would make us fully understand his motivations and reluctance to try to save lives.
06:42The Deadpool movies have balanced hard-hitting trauma and comedy before.
06:46We're certain they could pull it off again with what would be the film's saddest cameo.
06:50Trust me kid, I'm no hero.
06:53You were an X-Man.
06:55A grab bag of pruned universes.
06:58This is the place where the TVA dumps its rubbish.
07:01Everything they prune.
07:02Before the agents of the TVA had a change of heart,
07:04they had a habit of sending time travelers to a place known as The Void.
07:08This strange place eventually became the unwilling home of variants from across the multiverse.
07:13It also housed a dangerous creature known as Alioth.
07:17What is this place? Where are we? Who are you?
07:19This is The Void, that's Alioth, and we're his lunch.
07:22Come on!
07:23As soon as we saw this being in the Deadpool and Wolverine trailers,
07:26we knew the heroes would visit The Void.
07:29But we were not prepared for all the cameos that would be involved.
07:32In the trailers, we saw that variants of a Zazel, X2, and an elderly Ant-Man would all appear.
07:39All right, finally aged.
07:40Shut up.
07:40Oh my god.
07:41A villain named Cassandra Nova will also be present.
07:45It's likely that each of them is from a different universe or pruned world.

08:05Since The Void is full of variants,
08:07we'd love to see the filmmakers take advantage
08:09and bring in a famous actor that was almost cast as a Marvel character for a brief cameo.
08:14They could showcase what Emily Blunt's Black Widow
08:16or Glenn Howerton's Star-Lord would have looked like.
08:19A transporter of gods!
08:21The Golden God!
08:23I am untethered and my rage knows no bounds!
08:27However, our absolute top pick for a cameo is Tom Cruise's Iron Man.
08:32The rumors that he would appear in Multiverse of Madness
08:35as a Tony Stark variant nearly broke the internet.
08:38If Deadpool 2 could get a megastar like Brad Pitt to cameo,
08:42we think Disney could pull this off.
08:44We think it's high time that the MCU made fan dreams come true
08:48and gave us a glimpse of Tom Cruise's Iron Man in The Void.
08:51When we're on the ground,
08:53there's not gonna be a lot of time before they know we're there.
