00:14I'd like to echo the remarks made by Ranking Member Waters.
00:17Over the last three and a half years,
00:19President Biden has helped restore the United States
00:22leadership in a global economy.
00:24We are experiencing unprecedented levels
00:27of job creation, historically low unemployment,
00:30declining inflation, and growing wages and wealth.
00:34The rebuilding of an economy that works for everyone.
00:38I want to thank you, Secretary Yellen,
00:40for the work that you've done to restore our leadership
00:44at the international financial institutions
00:47and to protect our economy and the national security.
00:51I also want to thank Leader Hakeem Jeffries
00:54and the Democrats by governing and for governing,
00:59by giving the votes necessary to pass the debt ceiling,
01:03although we are in the majority.
