00:10Kedah Menteri Besar appealed for the Bornean state's help to cover the cost of sending

00:17The Sarawak Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister said, Sabah and Sarawak

00:21always had to bear such high costs to travel to West Malaysia for national-level events.

00:27Karim said, the Bornean states have suffered in silence all this while just to participate

00:31in these events, including SUKMA and the National Soccer League.

00:36Yesterday, Sanusi cited the high cost of travel and the need to transport containers of equipment

00:41in appealing for Sarawak to help cover part of the costs.

00:45Karim said, Sanusi was probably just joking, adding that Kedah was a rich state that could

00:50afford to bear the costs.

00:52SUKMA 2024 will be held across Sarawak's nine divisions from August 17 to 24.
