00:00We've got a much bigger tent this year, what are you expecting?
00:03Well last year I think we were absolutely at the max and I think the people who enjoyed
00:08it so much last year will definitely all come back but if they all tell their friends it's
00:12going to be absolutely jammed to the gunnels. You need a good space for a ceilidh dance
00:16anyway, you need a lot of room so when you're doing 15 minutes of Strip the Willow you need
00:22plenty of room so that is absolutely ideal for it. So I'm expecting the mix we had last
00:26year of locals who just love a ceilidh dance and love meeting visitors as well because
00:31the tourists that come in, it makes the Highland Games for them because it's an immersive thing,
00:36they can get involved with it, they're not just watching things, they're participating
00:40in the Highland culture so I think that's a big bonus.
00:45And who have we got performing throughout the day?
00:46Throughout the day we've got some of the local talent that you might have seen, Rue Mack
00:50who is at the Black Isle Belter with Pete and Diesel, he's performing. We've got young
00:56Michael Lewis who is just one of the most incredible talents, he's only 16 years old
01:01from Newtonmoor, sings quite different from everything else we've got, he sings in the
01:05kind of style of Frank Sinatra but what a voice, he is going to be an absolute superstar.
01:11So we've got him, we've got Davy Holt, Kenny from Chehalian, we've got a lot of the local
01:15bands that are playing so it's going to be traditional music with Michael in the middle
01:19of all of that and a lovely band called Northwards as well, a four or five piece band who will
01:26bring a Ceilidh to life. So all of that during the day, so there's songs people can sing
01:30to, tunes they can dance along to, whatever, whilst enjoying a beer as well because we're
01:34going to be running the bar in there throughout the day as well with some of our friends from
01:38Edinburgh who are helping us with it as well, Sips events. So yeah, it's going to be a good
01:44afternoon and then into the evening you've got an hour or two to get yourself ready and
01:48then it's Ceilidh from I think 7 o'clock till 11 o'clock so yeah, it's going to be a big
01:53day.
01:54It's going to be a great night and can you give us a little experience of what it's going
01:58to be like?
01:59I can give it a wee toot, you'll know that this is Mrs Macleod of Brassy.
