To persevere means to continue in the course of action even when you are facing difficulty. Never give up. No matter what the circumstance is, I am going to do the will of my Father who is in heaven. Love always perseveres, not giving up. Not doing my own will, but the will of God, whatever it takes to put in place the will of God in my life.

03:02What do I mean when I say whatever it takes to do the will of God?
03:07Because Jesus Christ did what he had to do for us.
03:10He persevered on a cross to give us life.

03:20He took bad treatment to save us, to give us life.
03:25He did the will of the Father.
03:27He persevered on the cross for us.
03:30So we must persevere for him.
03:33Whatever it takes.
03:35Whatever causes you to stumble or fall short, get rid of it.

03:41Have discernment from the Lord.
03:45It's very, very important.
03:47We need to know what is impure and what is pure.
03:50Whatever is impure, whatever doesn't fit God's character, throw it out your life.
03:56Whatever makes you stumble, whatever makes you fall, throw it out your life.
04:02It doesn't belong in your life.
04:04If it's making you fall for making you stumble, it does not belong in your life.
04:09If it's impure, it does not belong in your life.
04:14Matthew 5, 29, Jesus tells us,
04:17if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out.
04:23Gouge it out, take your eye out and throw it away.
04:27It is better for you to lose one part of your body
04:31than for your whole body to be thrown in hell.
04:35So whatever's wrong in your life, whatever's making you stumble, get rid of it.
04:41Get rid of it.
04:43Because you are more important, saving, than whatever that's causing you to stumble.
04:50If whatever's causing you to stumble, stop it.
04:57Get rid of it.
04:59You have a hard time getting rid of it, fast.
05:02Pray fast, pray that you have self-control.
05:07Get rid of it, get rid of it, get rid of it.
05:11You are more precious than whatever you're facing.
05:15You don't want to be thrown in hell.
05:18So it's better for you to be saved than to be thrown in hell.
05:25So Matthew 5, 29, Jesus is telling us,
05:27if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out.
05:31Meaning, get rid of it.
05:35Whatever's causing you to stumble and fall short, get rid of it.
05:39Take it out, it doesn't belong in your life.
05:42Love always perseveres.
05:44Whatever it takes, whatever it takes.
05:49If you love God, you want to persevere because you love him.

06:42God was testing Abraham to see did Abraham truly love God?
06:48If you truly love God, you get rid of impure things out of your life.
06:55When you truly love God, you do the will of the Father who is in heaven.
07:00No matter what the circumstances, Abraham obeyed God and he persevered,
07:07bringing out his love for God.

07:13He was going to sacrifice his son he truly loved, and God was testing him

07:54I'm going to love the God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind.
08:01And to do that, it takes everything that you've got.

08:07Not my will, but God's will.
08:10I'm going to persevere because I love God.
08:14I'm going to do the will of the Father who's in heaven.
08:17Despite of difficulty, despite of what I see, despite of what I hear,
08:24my faith and my trust is in the Lord.
08:28Not in man, not in man, not in scientists, not in the kings of the earth,
08:37but my trust is in God who's in heaven.
08:42So love the Lord all your God with all your heart,
08:44with all your soul, with all your mind.
08:46Because love always perseveres.
08:48Despite of difficulty, I'm going to remain obedient to the Lord.
08:52It is written in John 14, 15 through 21, Jesus tells us,

09:15I know how much God loves me, but how much do I love God?
09:22I love God so much, nothing's going to separate my love for God.
09:28I'm going to do the will of God, not my own will.

09:37It is written in John 14, 15 through 21, Jesus tells us,
09:42if you love me, keep my commandments.
09:45And I will ask the Father and he will give you another advocate
09:50to help you and be with you forever.
09:53The spirit of the truth.
09:56So he says, if you love me and keep my commands,
10:00I will ask the Father to give you another advocate to help you
10:07and to be with you forever.
10:08So he's not going to leave you, he's not going to forsake you,
10:11he's going to be with you forever.
10:12The spirit of truth.
10:13The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him.
10:18But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
10:25So that advocate is in you, he's in me.
10:29If you accept him, he's there to help you.
10:34The world cannot accept him.
10:36Why can't the world can accept him?
10:39Why can't the world accept the spirit of truth?
10:41Because they're opposite of God, their behavior.
10:46They're not willing to do God's command so it cannot help them
10:49because they don't recognize that Jesus is Lord.
10:55They don't want to perverse severe in the Lord,
10:57they don't want to recognize Jesus as Lord, so the spirit of truth cannot help them.
11:01But the spirit of truth will help you because you believe you have faith in the Lord.
11:07So you know what the spirit of truth is.
11:12For he lives with you.
11:14And Jesus tells us, I will not leave you as orphans.
11:18He will not leave us fatherless, right?
11:21He brings, he reconciles the father to us.
11:25He reconciles the father to us.
11:27He will not leave us as orphans.
11:29We're not alone.
11:30We have Jesus.
11:32We have the Holy Spirit.
11:35We have God the Father.
11:36We are not as orphans.
11:38I will come to you before long.
11:41The world would not see me anymore.
11:44But you will see me.
11:46He tells us, but we will see him.
11:49Because I live, because I live, you also will live.
11:53So nothing can separate me from the love of God.
11:57And nothing can separate my love for him.
12:01Because if, because God lives, I will live.
12:05Because he loves, that's great love.
12:08But how great is my love for him?
12:11My love for him is keeping his commandments
12:15and persevering and giving up everything
12:18that's a stumbling block.
12:20Everything that keeps me away from the father.
12:23I must separate myself from the world.
12:25I must separate myself from the impure things.
12:33Because God persevered on the cross to give me life.
12:39And I accept that life.
12:42Because I, because he lives, we also will live.
12:47On that day, you will realize that I'm in,
12:52that Jesus is in the father and you are in me.

13:35For he is in the father and I am in him.
13:39And he is also in me.
13:41Whoever has my commands and keeps them
13:46is the one who loves me.
13:48Jesus tells us the one who keeps my commands
13:52is the one who loves me because they persevered.
13:57They genuinely love the Lord, they persevered.
14:03They persevered.
14:06They're the remnant of God.
14:08The one who loves me will be loved by my father.
14:12And I too will love them and show myself to them.
14:17Despite the difficulty, despite the difficulty,
14:21I'm going to remain obedient to the Lord.
14:23Despite the difficulty.
14:25There was one time in my life, I didn't know who God was.
14:29I didn't have a relationship, I didn't know who God was.
