Proverbs 1:8-33
Warning Against the Invitation of Sinful Men
8 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
10 My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them.
11 If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
let’s ambush some harmless soul; 12 let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
and whole, like those who go down to the pit; 13 we will get all sorts of valuable things
and fill our houses with plunder; 14 cast lots with us;
we will all share the loot”—15 my son, do not go along with them,
do not set foot on their paths; 16 for their feet rush into evil,
they are swift to shed blood.17 How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it!
18 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves!
19 Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it.
Wisdom’s Rebuke
20 Out in the open wisdom calls aloud, she raises her voice in the public square;
21 on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech:
22 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
24 But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
25 since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you. 28 “Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me, 29 since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the Lord. 30 Since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke, 31 they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. 32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

01:36They're enticing you to do evil.
01:38Do not go along with them.
01:40My son, if sinful men entice you to do not go along with them.
01:45Let's ambush some harmless soul.
01:49Swallow them up alive like the grave and the hole like those who go down to the pit.
01:57We will get all sorts of valuable things and for our houses with plunder and cast lots
02:05with us.
02:06Come on, cast lots with us.
02:07No, do not go along with people that do evil.
02:11They do anything for their lusts to have and they desire what is evil.
02:20They do not desire the spirit of God, do not desire the image of God.
02:23They desire what is evil and they're willing to do and get, they're willing to do and get
02:32whatever it takes to get their desires.
02:40Do not go along with them because they are not listening to the word of God.
02:45They're not, they're disobedient.
02:48They're not listening to the word of God.
02:50They're not listening to their parents.
02:52They're disobedient and they're not listening and they don't want the spirit of God.
02:57So do not listen to them and don't go along with them.
03:04We will get all sorts of valuable things that they say for their house and they fill their
03:08house up with things that are useless, things that can't even help them grow.
03:19We all share the loot.
03:20I don't want none of your stuff that you have stolen, none of your stuff that is meaningless.
03:29It's meaningless.
03:30It rusts, it rots, you can't take it to heaven.
03:35It's meaningless.
03:42Do not set a foot on their paths for their feet rushes into to do evil.
03:48They rush into do evil.
03:50In fact, you know they're about to rush into evil because you listen to their music, right?
03:57You know, you hear the hip hop sounds and stuff like that.
03:59Oh no, no, that's the, that's the first sign right there, right?
04:05If they're listening to evil, most likely they're going to, they going to go to do,
04:10do some evil.
04:11If they're listening to evil things, most likely they're going to go and rush into do
04:15some evil.
04:16Do not go along with them.
04:22They are swift to shed blood.
04:24They are ready to shed blood.
04:26They're ready to go get a gun.
04:27They're ready to come to America and get a gun or they're ready to go in the hood.
04:32They got to have a gun.
04:33They're ready to find some way to do evil.
04:37They're ready to find a way to do evil or create some kind of way to kill and destroy
04:44and to do some type of evil.
04:47Stay away from those type of people.
04:51They're useless.
04:54How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it.
04:58These men lie and wait for their own blood.
05:03They just waiting for someone to, to shed their own blood because they're so evil.
05:07They got all these gangs.
05:10Look at it.
05:13They ready to be, you know, they're ready to die.
05:18It's almost like you, you, you're born for nothing.
05:22If you choose that life, you was created for nothing.
05:27If you choose, if that's, if that's the life that you want, you was created for nothing.
05:33It was created for nothing.
05:38How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it.
05:44Every bird can see your evilness.
05:46The men, the men, these men lie in wait for their own blood.
05:50They ambush only themselves.
05:53Only, you only ambush yourself.
05:58Such are the paths of all who goes after ill-gotten gain,
06:03takes away the life of those who gets it.
06:06And so those who do it the right way and trying to live the right way and do it the right way,
06:13you kind of take away, you take away from it.
06:17But those, these things are not really important in life.
06:19These, these, these ill-gotten gains, because they can't, you can't gain nothing from it.
06:23It doesn't give you life.
06:26It doesn't, it doesn't give you life.
06:34Proverbs 1, 20 through 33.
06:38Out in open, wisdom calls out loud.
06:41She raises her voice in a public square.
06:45So the public square wisdom, wisdom, wisdom is shouted out loud.
06:51And telling you what is right and what is wrong.
06:53Repent from your evil ways.
06:56I'm shouting out loud to you, repent from your evil ways.
07:01And every Christian person and every person that believes in Jesus Christ,
07:05every person that believes in God should go against evil.
07:09If you don't have a politician in your, in your government,
07:13that's not going against, that's not out in public and telling people to repent,
07:17something is wrong.
07:18Something is wrong with your government.
07:20If they cannot shout out and tell people to repent from their evil ways.
07:32On top of the wall, she cries out at the city gates and she makes her speech.
07:39How long will you, who are simple, love your simple ways?
07:44Those who are simple love their simple ways.
07:48Come out of your simple ways and do the ways of God.
07:55How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
07:59So those who don't want to listen to the word of God,
08:02those who don't want to listen to what is right,
08:07they hate knowledge.
08:08They're fools.
08:10They're fools.
08:12And they mock, they mock you because they don't want to do what's right.
08:17They mock you because they don't want to do what's right.
08:19They mock the word of God because they don't want to do it.
08:23So they have a price to pay.
08:26They will have a price to pay.
08:29So repent at the Lord's rebuke.
08:34Repent.
08:36So I'm rebuking your evilness.
08:39We're rebuking your wicked ways.
08:41So repent.
08:42God is telling you he don't like these ways.
08:48Then I will pour out my thoughts to you.
08:53So once you repent and turn around and give your life to God,
08:56God will pour out his thoughts.
08:57He will tell you what he wants you to do.
09:00He will tell you.
09:02He cannot bless you if you continue in sin.
09:08I will make known to you my teachings.
09:12But you have to change your ways.
09:15But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I
09:21stretch out my hand, you're not paying attention.
09:23God is stretching out his hand, but you're not paying attention.
09:28And since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke and you will
09:34not repent, you will not change your ways, then oh.
09:42So when disaster strikes you, when disaster strikes you, when disaster
09:48strikes you, I in return since you disregard all my advice and do not accept
09:57my rebuke, I in return will laugh when disaster strikes you.
10:05When disaster strikes you.
10:09When the wrath comes, when judgment comes, it's too late.
10:16It's too late.
10:19It's too late.
10:25I in return will laugh when disaster strikes you.
10:28I will mock when calamity overtakes you.
10:32So when you get into trouble, when you're distressed and you're not feeling good,
10:37when everything turns around from all the evil you was doing, it turns right back at you.
10:43And now you're going to say, Lord, Lord, Lord, help, help, help, help, help.
10:47You cause it onto yourself.
10:50You did that to yourself.
10:53You eating the fruits of your ways.
10:56So you're producing, if you're producing bad fruit, then you will get bad fruit.
11:07So when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps you, sweeps
11:14over you like a whirlwind, wild wind, like a tornado.
11:21Hurricane.
11:24When distress and trouble overwhelm you, then they will call to me.
11:30They will call unto the Lord.
11:31They will start praying.
11:32But God will not answer because he's telling you, repent from your evil ways.
11:38Repent from your gang life.
11:41Repent from your killing.
11:43Repent from your stealing.
11:45Repent from your killing.
11:47Repent from your stealing.
11:50Repent from harming other people.
11:53Repent from your idols.
11:57Repent from your idols.
11:59Yeah.
12:00You guys want to live that thug life?
12:02Repent from that idol.
12:04Repent from those images, that hip-hop image of words of violence, words of your drugs
12:14and your money.
12:15You worshiping these things, those images, the images of America telling you, you can
12:21be whatever you want to be.
12:23And then they put violence and guns and stuff on television, images to show, like, power.
12:31None of this stuff is the way of God.
12:36It's not the way of God.
12:41It's not the way of God.
12:44And so if you do not repent, your evil works will come against you, will come against
12:54you.
12:55And then when you start praying and God don't answer and you wonder why, because this is
12:59why, because you're not repenting.
13:11But when calamity and disaster strikes you, when it comes, it's going to be too late.
13:20It's going to be too late.
13:25And since they hated knowledge, and since you hate knowledge and did not choose to fear
13:30the Lord, because that's the first beginning of knowledge, is to fear the Lord.
13:34And since you would not fear the Lord, that's the beginning of knowledge.
13:38And those who puts a stomach block in people's way for them to do evil, and since you do
13:47not fear the Lord, right, the beginning of knowledge is to fear the Lord.
13:56And since they would not accept my advice and listen to his rebuke and respond to his
14:05rebuke by repenting, they will eat the fruits of their ways and be filled with the fruits
14:13of their schemes.
14:18So if you continue to do what is evil, what's the consequence?
14:27What's the consequence?
14:30Do sin produce life?
14:32No.
14:33Death.
14:36Sin produce death.
14:41And since you want your sinful ways, death that you will get, death you will get.
14:48There's no mercy.
14:51If you do not want mercy, death you will get.
14:59For the waywardness of the simple will kill you.
15:06And the complacency of fools will destroy them.
15:11And those who put a stomach block in those people's way for them to act in sin, their
15:19sins will be on you.
15:21It will kill you too.
15:25And whoever listens to me will live in safety.
15:29Whoever listens to the Lord in obedience will live in safety and be at ease without fear
15:38or harm.
15:42So those who are walking with the Lord, we don't fear no, we're not going to be in fear
15:46or harm, but God is with us.
15:51So this is a warning.
15:55The warning against the imitation of sinful men, do not go along with them.
16:03Do not go along with the ways of America, the ways of Hollywood.
16:10Do not go along with the evil that you see.
