00:00If you want to get up for Fajr prayer, just watch this video.
00:04Someone asked Hazrat Ali, I try a lot to pray in the morning but I can't get up.
00:10The pain remains in the whole body and this pain keeps increasing.
00:14Hazrat Ali said,
00:15In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:17The most important of the five prayers is Fajr prayer.
00:21Assess its importance by the fact that Allah swears at the time of Fajr.
00:26Hazrat Ali said,
00:27I swear by Fajr, the ten nights, Juft and Taq.
00:31I swear by the night when it starts to pass.
00:37Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa narrates that the Prophet said,
00:44Two rak'ahs of Fajr are better than the world and Mafia.
00:48Viewers, Fajr prayer is a criterion to assess a Muslim's faith.
00:55Once, Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib set out for prayer.
00:59On his way, he met an old man who was walking ahead of him.
01:03Hazrat Ali started following him and did not move forward
01:07due to his respect for his old age.
01:11Here, the prayer of the Jama'at took place in the mosque.
01:14When the Prophet went to Ruku, Hazrat Jibreel said,
01:21Put your wings on your back.
01:23When the Prophet wanted to get up from Ruku,
01:28Hazrat Jibreel would stop him.
01:31So much so that Hazrat Ali found the Prophet in prayer.
01:37That is, he joined the prayer.
01:39Rafa bin Khadij says,
01:42I heard the Prophet say,
01:46Fajr should be recited loudly because it has more blessings.
01:51That is, let it be so loud that there is no doubt about it.
01:55Or, this commandment is in the moonlit nights
01:58in which Fajr prayer is not recited.
02:00Shah Waliullah Dehlvi writes in Hujjatul Balagha,
02:03This is an order for those people who have less people present in the Jama'at
02:08or people of such large mosques
02:11in which all the weak and children gather.
02:14The meaning of this hadith is that
02:16Fajr prayer should be recited loudly so that it is recited loudly at the end.
02:21As it is narrated in the Hadith of Hazrat Abu Burza,
02:25that if he recited Fajr prayer,
02:27when he returned, he would recognise his companion.
02:30Hazrat Abu Hurairah narrates in the Hadith,
02:34that the Prophet said,
02:37Fajr prayer is the heaviest prayer for the hypocrites.
02:41If they know what is the reward and reward in it,
02:45then they should come for it, even if they are dragged.
02:48And I have decided that I should give the commandment of Salat,
02:51then I should give the commandment of Salat to a person,
02:54and then I should take some men with me,
02:56with whom there is a stick of wood,
02:59and those who do not come for Salat,
03:01I should burn them along with their houses.
03:04This hadith is about the hypocrites of the time of the Prophet.
03:10In this hadith, a sign of the hypocrites is mentioned,
03:12that all the prayers of the hypocrites are heavier.
03:15However, the prayers of Fajr and Isha prayer,
03:17because they are during the time of rest and sleep,
03:19are heavier for the hypocrites.
03:22And to come for Salat during these two times,
03:25is very bad for their health.
03:28Whereas, for the Muslims of the time of the Prophet,
03:32it was very bad,
03:34that someone should leave the mosque,
03:37that someone should leave Salat.
03:38The heavyness of Salat means,
03:41that one should consider it as unpleasant from the heart,
03:43and if one reads it,
03:44then one should consider it as a burden,
03:46and read it just to show off.
03:48Therefore, in today's time,
03:49if a Muslim is lazy in Fajr and Isha prayer,
03:53then he will not be considered a hypocrite,
03:55because this is his practical laziness,
03:57because of which he will be a sinner.
03:59But he does not consider Salat from his heart,
04:01as a burden on his bad or bad health.
04:04Therefore, it is not right to call him a hypocrite.
04:07However, it can be said that he has done the deeds of a hypocrite.
04:11The arrangements to get up for Fajr prayer are presented in front of you.
04:15Someone asked Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
04:18that I try a lot to offer Salat in the morning,
04:21but I do not get up.
04:22Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
04:24this is not because of sleep,
04:26but because you commit sins all day long.
04:28He does not let you get up by tying a rope around your neck,
04:31and handcuffs in your hands and feet.
04:34A person comes to Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
04:37and says, I do not sleep well at night.
04:40I cannot sleep at night,
04:41and when I wake up in the morning,
04:43there is pain in my whole body,
04:45and that pain continues to increase.
04:47When he has explained his pain to Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
04:51then Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said to that person,
04:54O person, while drinking water at night, stop drinking water,
04:58because doing this is extremely inappropriate for health.
05:01And drinking water at night causes such pain in the body,
05:05that if Allah wishes to heal it, He can do so,
05:08otherwise, its treatment is not possible.
05:11If it is easy, then do rest in the afternoon.
05:14This is Sunnah, and it helps a lot to get up in the morning.
05:18Eat your dinner early and eat less.
05:21Do not drink water at night.
05:22If it is necessary, then drink as little water as possible.
05:25Go to sleep early at night.
05:27Do not sleep at night.
05:30Ask someone to wake you up in the morning.
05:33Set an alarm and sleep.
05:34And keep the alarm so far away,
05:36that you have to get up to turn it off.
05:40As soon as you open your eyes,
05:41rub your face with both your hands for a long time.
05:45This is also Sunnah.
05:46Get up immediately after getting up from sleep.
05:49Do not act on your ego,
05:52that you rest for a little longer,
05:54and then get up.
05:55This is how Salah is performed.
05:57Keep asking Allah for help.
05:59Make a strong intention to get up in the morning.
06:02Set an internal alarm,
06:04that is, create love for Allah in your heart.
06:06It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira,
06:09who calls Azan five times a day,
06:12that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
06:16if people come to know
06:18how great it is to call Azan and stand in the first row,
06:22and if they do not have any other option,
06:25then they should definitely call Azan.
06:27And if they come to know
06:29how great it is to come in the first row for Salah,
06:32then they should definitely come in the first row.
06:34If they come to know
06:35how great it is to offer Isha and Fajr prayers,
06:39then they should definitely come in the first row,
06:41even if they have to come in the first row with their chest stretched out.
06:44It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
06:47that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
06:50has especially prayed for the forgiveness of Muazzin.
06:53The way Muazzin announces the greatness of Allah the Almighty through Azan,
06:58the same way he sings the song of unity,
07:01Allah the Almighty will reward him in the same way.
07:05On the Day of Judgement, he will be the highest of all,
07:08and he will be honoured.
07:10And the whole universe, which has heard his voice,
07:14will testify in his favour.
07:15The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
07:19Whosoever offers the Fajr prayer with one Raka'at before the sun sets,
07:24he has received the reward of the Fajr prayer in congregation.
07:27And whosoever offers the Asr prayer with one Raka'at before the sun sets,
07:31he has received the reward of the Asr prayer in congregation.
07:35The Muslim women would wrap themselves in the sheets
07:38to offer the Fajr prayer with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
07:42The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
07:45that the duties of the angels change day and night.
07:49In the Fajr and Asr prayers, those who are on duty,
07:51and those who are on leave, gather together.
07:54Then, when the angels who are with you ascend to heaven,
07:57Allah the Almighty asks,
07:59even though He knows more about His servants than they do,
08:02that in what state have you left My servants?
08:05They reply, that when we left them, they were offering the Fajr prayer,
08:11and when we went to them, they were also offering the Asr prayer.
08:14The Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them,
08:17said, that we were serving the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
08:23The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
08:25looked at the moon and said,
08:27that you will see your Lord in the hereafter,
08:31just as you are seeing this moon now.
08:33You will not have any difficulty in seeing it.
08:36So, if you can do such a thing,
08:38that the Fajr prayer before the sun sets,
08:41and the Asr prayer before the sun sets,
08:44and nothing can stop you, then do such a thing.
08:48Then, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
08:51recited this verse,
08:52that praise and glorify your Lord.
08:55Before the sun sets and the sun sets,
08:58Ismail, the narrator of the Hadith, has said,
09:00that you should not miss the Asr and Fajr prayers.
09:03Pay special attention to them.
09:05In front of me, a few people testified,
09:08among whom, Hazrat Umar, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:13that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:15has forbidden to offer Salat after the Fajr prayer,
09:19and after the Asr prayer,
09:21until the sun sets.
09:24Ibn-e-Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him,
09:26narrates that he said,
09:28that a few people from among me have narrated a Hadith,
09:31that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:34has narrated a Hadith,
09:36that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:38has forbidden to offer Salat
09:40after the Fajr prayer,
09:41and after the Asr prayer,
09:43until the sun sets.
09:44He has also forbidden to cover himself with a cloth
09:47so that the veil of shame is removed,
09:50and to sit in a cloth,
09:53which is called a Tabah.
09:54He has also forbidden to buy and sell
09:57from the servants of Allah.
09:59May Allah protect us all.
10:03May Allah protect us all.
10:06May Allah protect us all.
10:09The last Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
10:13said,
10:15I have made five obligatory prayers for your Ummah,
10:19and I have made an oath that
10:21whosoever forbids these prayers in their time,
10:23I will admit him into Paradise.
10:25And whosoever does not forbid,
10:27I have no oath for him.
10:29Allah says in the Holy Qur'an,
10:32Praise the Lord and speak of His purity.
10:35Before the sun sets,
10:36and before the sun sets,
10:38on the Fajr prayer,
10:39the five companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
10:42the Companion Ibn-e-Sahabi,
10:44Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
10:46narrates,
10:47The Beloved Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
10:49said,
10:51Whosoever performs the morning prayer,
10:52he is responsible for the evening prayer.
10:55Do not break the responsibility of Allah.
10:57Whosoever breaks the responsibility of Allah,
10:58Allah will turn him upside down and put him into Hellfire.
11:02Number two, Hazrat Salman Farsi, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:05narrates,
11:06The last Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:09said,
11:10The sign of the lesson is,
11:11whoever performs the morning prayer,
11:13he goes with the flag of faith,
11:15and whoever goes to the market in the morning,
11:16he goes with the flag of Satan, i.e. Iblis.
11:19Hazrat Ammarah bin Rubia, peace and blessings of Allah be upon her,
11:22narrates,
11:23I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:27say,
11:28Whosoever performs the Fajr prayer before the sun sets,
11:30i.e. Fajr and Asr,
11:32he will never enter Hellfire.
11:34Number four, Hazrat Abu Baida bin Jarrah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:38narrates,
11:39The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:42said,
11:43The Friday prayer is no better than the Fajr prayer.
11:47I think that those of you who are present will be forgiven for their sins.
11:53Number five, Hazrat Anas, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
11:56narrates,
11:57The government of Madinah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
12:00said,
12:01Allah will grant freedom to those who perform the Fajr and Asr prayers for forty days.
12:07One is from the fire, and the other from hypocrisy.
12:10Prayer is the key to Heaven.
12:12May Allah enable us to offer 500 prayers at a time.
12:16May Allah show us the path of guidance and grant us the death of faith.
12:20Ameen.
