00:00Then on to Wolves, looking at their sort of transfer situation. It looks like a few new
00:07names are on the way in. It's positive for them, and O'Neill might finally have his striker
00:12lined up.
00:13I know. Finally, Gary O'Neill, he's going to be so relieved, isn't he, that Jorgen Strand-Larsen
00:19is about to arrive from South Vigo. £25 million fee, some instalments in there as well. A
00:27according to a variety of sources across Europe, which is good to hear. 17 goals and seven
00:32assists in 69 La Liga appearances. It's not like he's massively clinical and getting a
00:37goal a game, but he's a proven goal scorer in one of Europe's top leagues. He's a Norway
00:42international. He's only 24, I believe, as well, so he's not yet in his prime. And for
00:4620 years, I think that seems like good business. He's tall as well, so it's going to offer
00:50Walls a bit more of an outlet up top last season. Mateus Cunha, obviously, fantastic.
00:55Huang He-Chan, fantastic, but they're not those target man figures. They're not going
00:58to back into defenders and give that outlet. Strand-Larsen is probably going to do that.
01:03So that's a fantastic bit of business that's soon to be completed. And then Pedro Lima
01:07as well from the Brazilian league, a right back who was wanted to be signed by Chelsea,
01:12but Walls has completed that hijack. He's already signed his contract. It just hasn't
01:16been announced yet at this time of recording. About £8 million, but that's going to be
01:20stretched across a number of windows. So Walls able to comply with PSR while also
01:24getting business done for the years to come.
01:27They're so positive compared to previous windows, even Gary O'Neill, though the likes of the
01:35last few managers have mentioned such a small squad and not able to spend, get as many players
01:42as they'd like in. This looks like a bit of a change of tides this season, maybe. It looks
01:47a lot more positive. Of course, we'll start in their business very early as well.
01:51Yeah, I think that's a big positive, actually, is the fact that they're getting this done
01:55before pre-season's properly got underway. New striker Strand-Larsen can bed in the youngsters
02:00that are coming in as well. I think a lot of fans will be excited by Rodrigo Gomez and
02:04what he can offer. Also, it has to be mentioned that a big player is going to leave this summer
02:09in order to afford the likes of Strand-Larsen, Rodrigo Gomez, Tommy Doyle, £5 million is
02:14a snip really on a permanent deal from Manchester City. I think fans will be excited about that
02:18as well. But the funds have got to come from somewhere. We've known that Wolves haven't
02:21had them just there to be waiting to be spent. They will need to sell. So you might lose
02:26a Pedro Neto, for example, and that's going to hit them. But having that number nine,
02:30I think is more important, building the squad a bit of depth. I think Gary O'Neill will
02:34be hoping to get to the top half next season, as ambitious as that is.
