00:00Right, I'm with Andrew Simpson, the Lord Lieutenant of Barnshire here at Portsoy for the Boat
00:06Festival. Andrew, how are you enjoying your Boat Festival so far?
00:09Absolutely wonderful. It's a fantastic day. I was privileged to open the event earlier
00:14on this morning and now just wandering around, meeting people, seeing the different stalls
00:19and just picking up the atmosphere of what is a fantastic occasion here in Portsoy.
00:25And the weather's played itself right, you know, and it's come out nice in the sunshine.
00:31It certainly is encouraging people just to wander around, to stop and chat and to look
00:35at the stalls and just take part in the activities that are on here at Portsoy.
00:41It's a great community event and brings thousands of people into the area as well and good for
00:45businesses and accommodation providers. Yes, very much so. I mean, I've been speaking
00:49to people, obviously people locally, but people from across the North East of Scotland, but
00:53people from across Scotland and England. And we've been speaking this morning to some
00:58folk from Germany as well, who are here for the weekend and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
01:03And also the headline, the Red Arrows. I know it's a nautical festival, but the Red Arrows,
01:08that's another big attraction, isn't it? It's so special having them up at the wonderful
01:13event and to have them on their 60th anniversary and being the only Scottish venue where they're
01:18doing a display. It's a fantastic credit to the organisers, to the committee, who've
01:23put all the events together and managed to get the Red Arrows here. So, last week it was Buckingham
01:29Palace, this week Portsoy. Where better to be? Excellent, excellent. Thanks very much,
01:33Andrew. Enjoy the rest of your festival. Thank you. Great, that's fine. Thank you very much.
