00:00Good morning. It is a bit of a cloudy start to the day but there will be more
00:03sunshine on the way through the rest of this afternoon and the rest of the
00:07weekend as it does start to warm up. But there's a weather front lying across
00:11eastern areas at the moment that's introduced quite a lot of cloud
00:14overnight, potentially some drizzly rain out there as well. We'll brighten up as
00:18we head towards lunchtime and into this afternoon from the west. So more in the
00:22way of sunshine to come for Wales, North West England, much of Scotland as well.
00:26And the sunshine is still quite strong, high UV levels and very high pollen
00:31levels as well. Temperatures climbing into the low 20s quite widely across
00:35central and eastern areas. Even across parts of northeastern Scotland we can
00:38see highs of 21 degrees. A little bit fresher though to the west, that's
00:43because more cloud is arriving. It's the next weather front to arrive through
00:47this evening. It's not going to bring that much in the way of rain, potentially
00:50some drizzly rain to the likes of North West Scotland but plenty of cloud for
00:54parts of western Wales, Devon and Cornwall and the northwest of England as
00:58well. Some hill fog and a lot of cloud along the coasts as well. To the east of
01:03that it will stay clear overnight but temperatures will still stay quite high.
01:07So another mild night to come this evening. But it will be a brighter start
01:13to the day on Sunday and Sunday in general is likely to be a brighter day.
01:16We've still got this weather front lying across central and eastern areas of
01:21Wales and England through the day but there will still be plenty of sunshine
01:25and actually for much of Scotland, Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and
01:28the southeast is still going to be another bright and sunny day and
01:33temperatures climbing a little higher on Sunday compared to Saturday. We could be
01:36towards the mid-20s for the far southeast and again into the low 20s for
01:41some eastern areas and southern areas of Scotland. So another warm sunny day to
01:46come on Sunday but it's going to get even warmer as we head into next week.
01:51Monday and Tuesday looks like when we'll see the peak of the heat. We could see
01:54temperatures climbing as high as 29 degrees as we start to pick up a
01:58southerly wind across the southeast. So make sure you stay tuned over the
